History makers!

A week ago, Team RX Racing drivers Ollie and Patrick O’Donovan made history, by both qualifying for the Euro RX1 final under the lights in Portugal.

While it isn’t uncommon for leading competitors’ offspring to follow in their footsteps and race in Euro RX’s top category, competing together in the main final of the top class (whether that be Division 2, Division 1, Supercar, RX1, etc) is unique.

2024 Euro RX Champion Patrick O’Donovan qualified second and finished in the same position last Saturday night, while 2007 British Rallycross Champion Ollie O’Donovan qualified sixth and finished fifth.
