RACE WEEKEND REPORT

Great racing all weekend and finished all my races, started to get a feeling for the track Croft is definitely a high speed but difficult track to master to flow your speed correctly, few changes to the car set up helped make it more manageable but different to what we have raced previously.

Nice to see Alex and Kurt from enjoying seeing the car out on track and supporting us on the journey

Next up Cadwell, my most local circuit and my biggest supported event I'll have!

RACE 3 REPORT

Starting from 31st I had another great start getting a few positions up through turn 1 and 2 and settled in a good little pack tightly followed by .turner96 who was all over me very close battle until the last lap final corner of which I took the harpin wide once I regained grip we had a little meeting but held our position in front whilst 1 sneaky car managed to get round us both.

Great racing and the C1's first official big decent to christen it solidly in the City Car pack🍾

RACE 2 REPORT

Even serving my 5 grid penalty I got a great start off the line gaining 5 positions off the start and through turn 1 getting up to 29th from 34th, had some great battles with and .racing but unfortunately they just had the pace on me and managed to get past.

Great race and managed to shave 1 second off my best time, happy with the improvement and being able to manage the steering wheel alignment issue and improve my lines and race craft

RACE 1 REPORT

Race 1 started well got a good start going from 33rd and worked up to 28th and made the move in for 27th unfortunately the gap maybe wasn't as much of a gap I should of gone for and waited til I better opportunity...
Contact out the corner caused us to get tangled and us both spinning out.

I was able to get back out and finish the race coming last but at least it wasn't another DNF

Few bits to take away from race 1 which we'll review and debrief on tonight and hopefully have a clean and progressive day tomorrow

🏁RACE DAY!🏁

Qualifying done, unfortunately cut short due to a red flag moment o turn 1, managed a good lap on pace with the mid pack but unfortunately got it taken off us due to apprant trac limits...(We disagree but that's racing)

Starting from 33rd for Race 1, hoping to make a few positions off the start and into turn 1 and hold ground and try make our way up the pack

ROUND 4 TIMETABLE

Round 4 brings us to one of our more local tracks being 2nd nearest to us, Croft circuit, this was the track that I first watched City Cars here last year and got Speaking to .d.racing_64 and got hooked now here we are this year racing it!

Hoping for a steady but progressive day to learn the track and get some points back on the board following our 2 DNFs at Silverstone

ITS RACE WEEK!🏁

Round 4 is only 5 days away!

We've fixed our bent axle and replaced the cracked wheel from Silverstone and made some other repairs and some little changes.

Hoping for a solid weekend to get some points back up from last round.

Looking forward to racing Croft Circuit for the first time after watching city cars there for the first time last year!

We again have the support of JC Performance in our paddock helping us out and watching some racing 🖤💛

We also some of our partners from The Tyre Clinic & Autohouse making an appearance to watch some racing, should be a great weekend!

🏁RACE DAY!🏁

Race 2 had our first big damage incident for the team...

A great start and chare through the gird had us going from 35th to 25th! Gaining a solid 10 positions and almost another overtake before the incident.

Fuel or oil etc on the track caused the rear end to slide out on in front of us then our car and unfortunately got punted by the closely followed SMC car of 157 who didn't quite make it round me and took out my wheel and axle...

Fair bit to repair before Round 4 at Croft but nothing we can't fix!

Positives to take on was I managed to get a new best lap time of 01:21.286! Consistent laps through the weekend and improving throughout!🕐📉

Now time for a few weekends of repairing before Round 4 at Croft in a months time!🏁
