It doesn’t have to be about weight loss, it generally starts there but then spirals into other great goals! Because confidence grows! Confidence brings out the ability to achieve things they never thought they would do!
What do they have in common?…..
1️⃣ Structure and a plan.
2️⃣ A goal to work towards.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣…This is routine and consistency.
The word motivation is bantered around mega loads. I hear people saying it’s all the time “I have no motivation” “your so motivated” “when my motivation comes back”
But what you’ve just watched wasn’t motivation. It was routine and consistency.
Look ahead into your week, and pencil in when you have time to train. Be open and honest with yourself, look to loved ones for support, when can you honestly train.
Look to fit in 45-60 minutes of training 3 times a week. There will be a potential pattern. These are the times to train. This will build a routine. Once the routine is in place it begins to build the consistency.
Once the consistency builds changes will happen!!
It’s not motivation you need its routine and consistency.
𝙇𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙖 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚…Which picture is the original and which one has been touched up?
The answer is A. Let me know below ⬇️ if you got it right.
But, all fun aside, when we now live in a world where we have AI, creator software, filters and apps, what’s real and what isn’t, this is where we have to be careful.
Be careful when buying into a product which promises you change and creating a better lifestyle. We’ve seen them all the before and after pictures of a 6 week program, are they real?
Be careful when comparing yourself to pictures on social media and the internet. They can be extremely edited, lighting put in the right places, the picture is posed in certain ways to make the person look better or the main picture itself is overlayed onto another to make look even better.
Compare yourself only to yourself.
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖 16 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙨…
At the beginning of January 2026 some of the team took on a 16 week challenge. The challenge was to set a goal and train for that goal over a 16 week period. Then to have a photoshoot.
It wasn’t a shred, or any weight loss journey, or to increase muscle mass.
The shoot was to capture what we set as a goal. Even if that was to increase their training from two sessions to 5 per week, lose some weight, improve at your favourite movement or just to take part in a photoshoot.
The team smashed it! So so proud of them all. Increased their training, lost some weight, improved at their movements, even grew the courage to box jump!!!
The day of the photoshoot was amazing seeing the team come together and to encourage each other to step out of their comfort zone. They’d gelled over the 16 weeks growing as a team which has continued even now.
Even this for me was something different and stepping out of my comfort zone, not something I’m used to having a camera pointed at me, top off posing.
Well done everyone, you did so well.

5 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙚𝙭𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜…
The end!
5 reasons why you should exercise:
1️⃣ Improves heart health
Physical activity strengthens your heart and improves circulation, which can help lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
2️⃣ Boosts mood and mental well-being
Exercise stimulates the release of chemicals such as endorphins that can improve mood, reduce stress, and help manage symptoms of anxiety and depression.
3️⃣ Increases strength and fitness
Activities such as resistance training and aerobic exercise build muscle, improve endurance, and enhance overall physical performance.
4️⃣ Supports healthy weight management
Exercise burns calories and helps maintain muscle mass, making it easier to manage body weight when combined with a balanced diet.
5️⃣ Promotes better sleep and energy levels
Regular physical activity can improve sleep quality and often leads to higher energy levels throughout the day.
𝙋𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙪𝙥𝙨… I think are one of the most impressive bodyweight exercises to do. Difficult to do, take a while to train for and make a great goal to achieve.
Here are some alternative exercises to help you achieve your first pull up.
𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩…..𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨..16 weeks was the time frame to become stronger and to practise lifting the 156kg tyre!!
16 weeks later, 100kg deadlift, 40kg bench press, 70kg back squat and learning to lift a tractor tyre which towers above us!!!
smashes it!! Not once but twice! Yet this was more than just lifting a tyre it was creating a routine around a busy family and working life to train more frequently each week and achieving a goal which Sarah achieved 10 years ago.
Well done Sarah, a great achievement showing patience, dedication and time. Well done. 👏
𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙮…
As we all know Instagram, Facebook and other social media sites aren’t always the true place to believe what we see and the lighting in the pictures helps make that picture either look good or does you dirty!
The Hyrox event lighting did me dirty in the first picture yet 30 seconds later (probably more being lunges) the lighting is different and from a different angle making me look completely different, from white to tanned, larger body composition to a slimmer toned one.
In the third picture it looks like I need a good meal!!
So the next time you look at yourself at home, in the gym or the shop window you walk past, always remember the lighting may not be the best and you don’t actually look like that!
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙙!!….People stepping out of their comfort zone!
Took on the London Marathon. After months and months training Ang took on her biggest physical challenge to date, running 26.2 miles!!!
Inspiring doesn’t come close! Stepping out of her comfort zone 110%. Amazing effort Ang, the team and myself inspired by you!
𝙏𝙝𝙚 16 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚… several of the team took on a 16 week challenge. Choosing their own goals they wanted to achieve over this period. Training 4-5 days a week. Then stepping out of our comfort zone with a photoshoot to celebrate their achievements.
Once again seeing the team step out of their comfort zone doing something we never thought we’d do! Brilliant to see, brilliant to be part of!!
