What a way to finish this year’s Summer League!

After a tough group stage of the Finals Day the boys made it through to the Champions League Final where they faced a strong Scawthorpe Scorpions team.

They battled brilliantly in the group stage, but their performance in the final was on another level. Every player stayed focused, kept calm and gave everything for the team. They played some great football, created chances and scored three goals, all while keeping a clean sheet at t he other end!

🏆 Annual Rossington FC Tournament – PCFA U11s 🏆

Our U11s competed in the annual Rossington FC Tournament today and gave a fantastic account of themselves 💙⚽

The boys had to work hard in a group, showing great determination, team spirit and plenty of fight to make their way into the Champions League Final. Every game tested them but they kept going and fully deserved their place in the final. 👏

The final was another tough match. We created plenty of chances and pushed hard, but the opposition defence stood strong and just couldn’t be beaten today. Although the result didn’t go our way, it was a good display and something the boys should be proud of.

🏆 Annual Rossington FC Tournament – PCFA U12s 🏆

Our U12s competed in the Annual Rossington FC Tournament today and represented PCFA brilliantly. 💙⚽

The boys were placed in a very competitive group and worked hard throughout, showing great effort, discipline and team spirit. Their fantastic performances earned them a place in the Champions League Final. 👏

The final was a tight match from start to finish, ending in a 1-1 deadlock. With nothing separating the two teams, the trophy had to be decided by penalties. Unfortunately, the boys narrowly missed out in the shootout, but they can be very proud of themselves for reaching the final and competing so well.

A fantastic effort from the whole team and another great experience for the boys! 💪⚽

Coach Djamal has completed his UEFA C qualification, another advanced coaching qualification within our club and a great achievement for our U12s coach 👏

It takes months of learning, practical work and commitment to complete, so it’s brilliant to see another PCFA coach continuing to develop.

⚽ Match Report – Askern Miners U11s 1-6 PCFA U11s ⚽

Our U11s travelled to Askern last night for their final game of the Summer League, and what a way to finish the campaign! 💙⚽

Fair to say the boys controlled the game from start to finish, with some really good football on display. The team played with confidence, created plenty of chances, and took them well to secure a strong win and finish 2nd in the table. 👏🔥

🏆 Annual Rossington Tournament Report – PCFA U16s 🏆

A brilliant day of football for our U16s, who represented the club superbly throughout the tournament. 💙⚽

The boys were placed in a very tough group, coming up against teams who either played in the Premier Division last season or have been promoted to it. Every team we faced was playing at a higher level than us, but across five matches our boys competed strongly and showed they fully deserved to be there.

After the group stage, the boys progressed into the Europa Cup. The final itself was a tight and tense game, finishing 0-0, before being decided by penalties. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on our side as we narrowly lost 9-8 in the shootout.

It was a cruel way to miss out, but the boys can be incredibly proud of their effort, attitude and performance across the whole tournament. To compete so well against higher level teams and narrowly missing out on a trophy is a fantastic achievement.

⚽ Match Report – PCFA U11s 4-0 Dunscroft Warriors Blue ⚽

Our U11s were back at Town Field this morning as they hosted Dunscroft Warriors Blue and the boys put in another excellent team performance. 💙⚽

There was some really good football on display, with the team moving the ball well, creating plenty of chances, and showing great confidence throughout the match. Just as pleasing was the finishing, with the boys finding the back of the net four times while keeping a clean sheet at the other end. 👏🧤
