Join us on Saturday 19th September 2026 for an exciting day of racing on the Tyne, from Blaydon to Newburn (3000m).

Race Details:
- 4 Divisions: 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm & 3:00pm
- Events for single & double sculls, and pairs!

Division Breakdown:
- Division 1: Senior Open & Masters Women
- Division 2: Senior Women & Masters Open
- Division 3: Junior Open & Women (J13 to 18)
- Division 4: Doubles (all ages) & Pairs (J15 & above)

DARC de Triomphe marked their first Sunday League appearance in fabulous fashion with four wins from four races today at Talkin Tarn to move up the order in the Open division.

Great day's rowing at Tarn in the Sunday League this afternoon, 2 Aug 26. And wonderful weather and water conditions. Some crews lower down the tables at the start of the day pulled out great performances and moved up. Those in the top two in both Open and Women's leagues just hung on to their places, but others not now far behind. Sweep at Tyne United in the next round! Click on image for full results.

🇬🇧 British Rowing Coastal Championships 2026 🇬🇧

After a long weekend in Nottingham Seren and Charlotte extended their season for another weekend of rowing at Whiby taking part in the Coastal Championships last week.

Seren and Charlotte combined to win GOLD 🥇 in the Women's Under 19 2x followed by Seren winning SILVER 🥈in Women's Under 19 1x!

Huge congratulations to both! 🎊

Saturday provided medal successes at the British Rowing Club Championships -
Huge congratulations to Aidan Lawlor on taking first place in time trial, semi-final and A final to win the gold medal in the J16 1x.

Matthew Wheeler finished 38th in the J16 1x time trial.

Seren Williams was 2nd in the E final of WJ18 1x for 26th place overall.

In the WJ16 2x Sascha Wang (Durham) and Scarlett Wilkinson (Infinity) were 5th in the time trial and 6th in the A final.

In J18 1x Aidan Lawlor was 9th and Patrick Lakey 40th in the time trial, with Aidan going on to take 3rd place in the B final.

Four days of competition in the British Rowing Club Championships start tomorrow at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham.

🏆 AIDAN TAKES THE WIN IN GRAVELINES 🏆

Saturday saw Aidan Lawlor head to Gravelines, France after being selected to represent GB in the M1x for the annual J16 GB - France Match.

Having successfully navigated his way through trials 2 weeks ago, Aidan cemented his selection with a win on Saturday in a time of 5:57.002 over the 1500m course 💪

Hopefully the first of many for Aidan wearing a GB vest! Huge congratulations to Aidan and all of Team GB 🇬🇧 👏

Thanks must go to Wayne and Owen of Cambois Rowing Club for the support and logistics this weekend 🙌

Aidan along with his fellow juniors will be heading to Nottingham this coming weekend for British Rowing Championships to round of a long and successful season! More on that soon! 👀
