Our Junior Champion, Danny Hogg continues his good season by reaching the final of the Lothians Golf Association Junior Champion of Champions competition. Danny met Scottish Boys International Oliver Henderson in the final.
Danny was ahead at the turn and shot under par through 16 but couldn’t hang on and lost 3&2. Danny reckons Oliver shot 4 under. We know Danny is disappointed but this is a great achievement. 👏👏👏

👏⛳ Congratulations to Daniel Hogg, our 2026 Junior Champion, who did us proud this week at the Scottish Men’s Amateur Championships over the Murcar and Royal Aberdeen links.
The historic 5 day championship saw Danny in a massive field of 264 golfers battle through two rounds of stroke play to qualify for the matchplay finals.
A win on the 19th hole got him past Adam Giles and into the last 32 where he took last year's Champion Chris Somers down 17 for a 2 and 1 defeat.
A fantastic performance over wonderful courses, going head-to-head against the cream of Scottish amateur golf. Well done Danny!!
