An afternoon off midweek is a good excuse for a round ⛳ Twilight tee times start at 1pm, Monday to Friday, so you can get out on the course and still be home before dark.

The clocks have gone back, so it’s time for the winter warmer ☕⛳

Book a round with a tee time before midday, and you’ll get a bucket of balls to warm up with on the range, plus your choice from the winter warmer food menu when you come in.

Mornings at Script just got a lot better 🍳

Everything on the new breakfast menu is cooked to order. The bread comes from Flourish Craft Bakery in Watford, the sausages and bacon from DP Clarke, and the coffee is Kimbo from Naples.

Go for the 18-Hole Full English if you’re teeing off later, or the 9-Hole if you’re not. There are Eggs Royale with Severn and Wye smoked salmon, and pancakes with maple candy bacon if you’re in the mood.

Served every morning, golfers or not. Just come down.

The course is playing nicely, the parkland has turned truly autumnal, and the quieter weekdays are a good time to make the most of it before the clocks change on Sunday.

If the Santa visit is on the list this year, we’ve got two mornings in December that’ll handle it 🎄 Saturday 12th and Saturday 19th, 9.30am to 11.30am.

The children get a one-on-one with Santa in the grotto, a gift to take home, and plenty to keep them busy in between. There’s storytime, sing-alongs, festive games and crafts going on throughout. The buffet brunch is already laid out when you arrive, so breakfast is sorted too.

£19.95 per person for adults and children. Two mornings only, and the slots at each tend to go fast.
