π On Friday, the Devon Cricket Foundation ran the first of the Young Cricket Collective courses, a new initiative designed by the ECB to prepare young people to start volunteering.
Run in three parts, the course covers training to be an Activator, an Official and a Young Leader. The participants received a full range of kit and can build their hours of volunteering for rewards!
1οΈβ£9οΈβ£ participants from across 11 clubs attended the course.
π£οΈ "It was great to see all the young people engaging fully in the activities and opportunities presented to them. Their cricket clubs will be very lucky to have them as volunteers this season." - Ian McCombes
