Congratulations to Langside Bowling Club triples team who won the Scottish Bowls district final at Rutherglen on Thursday night!
Mick Buchanan, Brian Dunleavy and Graeme Coulter now go to Northfield in Ayr to play in the Scottish National finals with the other district winners in August.

On Sunday, Langside Bowling Club hosted the annual Techna Trophy tournament. Congratulations to James Munn’s Cathcart team who beat Baillieston in the final. Thanks to everyone who took park on the day, it was another great day of bowls!

To celebrate Volunteers Week, we hosted a thank you event for our volunteers last night. Our volunteers help the club in so many ways - from being board and committee members, managing the ground, scoring cricket matches, organising social events, working behind the bar, running sports teams, even managing the social media - the list goes on!
Without this team of dedicated people we wouldn’t be able to run the club for all our members and the wider community. So thank you to those who attended last night and all our other volunteers who couldn’t make it 🌟

It is volunteer week across the UK and we would like to thank all our wonderful volunteers for all your hard work and support. Too many people to mention by name, but you know who you are and what you do!
We are a volunteer run club, we need as many members to step up and support our club as and when they are able, it makes such a difference.
So thank you to those who already do so much and thank you to those of you thinking of stepping forward.

Our Summer Holiday Camps are now live and ready to book!
🎾 Running for 6 weeks, from Monday 29th June to Friday 7th August
🎾 9am - 3pm each day, with morning, afternoon and full day sessions available to book
🎾 Suitable for children starting P1 this year and older. Sessions will be split into two groups, 4-10 year olds and 11+
🎾 Each session includes lots of tennis drills, fun games and a chance to play with friends

It was a great weekend of tennis down at Langside!
On Saturday afternoon we hosted our annual Tom Rae Doubles Tournament. Congratulations to Jackie and Dave on winning after a close final against Alasdair and Rick!
And congratulations to our women’s first team who kicked off their summer season with a 9-3 win against Strathgryffe 🎾
