ROXBURGH LEAGUE STANDINGS - FINAL WEEK

All up to date results and tables for week 8 have now been updated and can be found at the link below.

Section A hangs in the balance with a number of teams who can still qualify for the play-offs. In Section B, Singer have already qualified for the play-offs after their results last week, so now we just have to wait and see who joins them, and if they can hang on to top spot in the section.

A great week for the club as District 23’s Finals came to a conclusion.

In the gents competitions we will be represented at Ayr Northfield in 3 disciplines.

Well done to Drew Murdoch in the gents junior singles, Peter Murray in the gents singles, and Darren Gualtieri & Ryan Gualtieri in the gents pairs.

Good luck to all District 23 representatives when the time comes! 👊🏻

The National Championships kick-off for us in early August but we will keep everyone updated throughout that week as usual!

As ever we look forward to great support and can’t wait for the occasion!

The bar will be opened and a day of great bowls ahead featuring some of our very own talent. 💪🏻

Join Our Try Bowls Session: Start Your Journey 🦌

Are you looking to discover a new sport that combines skill, focus, and a welcoming community? We invite you to join our Try Bowls Session and experience everything our club has to offer.

Supporting the official Bowls Scotland initiative in the lead up to this years Commonwealth Games, we are opening our doors to anyone interested in learning the basics of lawn bowls. Whether you’re looking to get active in the fresh air or keen to meet new people in a relaxed environment, we’d love to see you there.

Event Details

When: Monday, 4th May
Time: Drop in anytime between 1:00PM – 5:00PM

What to Expect

Club Tour: Take a look around our facilities and get a feel for our club’s friendly atmosphere.

Introductory Session: Our members will be on hand to show you the basics and help you get started on the green.

What to Bring: All you need is a pair of flat-soled shoes. We will provide all the necessary equipment for you to have a go.

There is no pressure and no need to book—simply join us at any point during the afternoon to see if bowls is the right sport for you.

Congratulations to Hyndland Bowling Club for winning tonight’s Killermont Trophy for the second season running. Thanks to everyone at Killermont for the running of the competition, to all the clubs who took part and hosted.

Special mention to the highest up rink from Albion - Davie McLusky, Davie Dunsmore, Dougie Cochrane, Tam Mackie (Sk).

On behalf of President Grahame Hogg, we welcome all members and invited guests to this seasons opening day. We hope to see everyone out for the first bowls of the season.
