"AUGB Glasgow, together with Friends of Victoria Park, invites the Ukrainian community, our friends, and everyone in Glasgow to our annual :Ukrainian Independence Day: Family Day in the Park" 🇺🇦

📍 Where: Victoria Park, Glasgow, G14 9NW
The event will begin at 12:00 with the official opening, a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of Ukraine. We will be joined by representatives of the Scottish Government, Members of the Scottish Parliament, representatives of local government, and other distinguished guests.
This will be followed by a vibrant cultural programme featuring Ukrainian and local performers. Taking to the stage will be Solo Way Ukrainian Choir, musicians from Culture Code, Children’s Choir “Volia” from St Mary’s Ukrainian Saturday School in Glasgow, Little Queens dance group from Mission of Innocents, Rock Choir Scotland • Choirs led by Elaine Williamson, as well as solo singers and musicians.
We recommend arriving for the start at 12:00 so you don’t miss the official opening and the first performances!
Alongside the concert programme, there will be plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon, including a Ukrainian Ceilidh, Ukrainian arts and crafts workshops, a magic show and balloon modelling, face painting, sports activities including volleyball, football, basketball, netball and Pilates, a fire engine display, model boat demonstrations, and sunflower and marigold planting.
Traditional Ukrainian food will also be available to enjoy throughout the day.

Захід розпочнеться о 12:00 з офіційного відкриття, хвилини мовчання та Державного Гімну України. До нас приєднаються представники Уряду Шотландії, члени Шотландського парламенту, представники місцевої влади та інші почесні гості.
Після цього на сцені — велика культурна програма за участі українських та місцевих виконавців. Для вас виступатимуть Solo Way Ukrainian Choir, музиканти Culture Code, дитячий хор «Воля» з Українська суботня школа Пречистої Діви Марії у Глазго , танцювальна група Little Queens з Mission of Innocents, Rock Choir Scotland • Choirs led by Elaine Williamson, а також сольні виконавці та музиканти.
Радимо приходити до самого початку о 12:00, щоб не пропустити офіційне відкриття та перші виступи!
Окрім концертної програми на вас чекають Ukrainian Ceilidh, майстер-класи з українського мистецтва, фокусні шоу та моделювання з повітряних кульок, аквагрим , спортивні ігри (волейбол, футбол баскетбол, нетбол та пілатес), виставка пожежного автомобіля, клуб моделей кораблів та висаджування соняшників й чорнобривців.
Також протягом дня буде можливість скуштувати страви української традиційної кухні.
