🏆 The GrassRoute Champions League 🏆

After a very successful GrassRoute Cup and Shield, we now present to you, the GrassRoute Champions league!

💥The tournament will run from the 22nd - 23rd of August at Whitecroft Football Club. We plan to include age groups from 26/27 season of U8s - U12s (depending on numbers)💥

The format? 7v7 ⚽️
Max squad size? 12! 💪🏻
All teams will have the chance to compete for a glory with the added Europa League Cup for those that finish in the bottom half of the group stages. 🏆

🏅Registration fee for the tournament will be held at £40 per team with our GrassRoute Cup and Shield winners, Broadwell u11 Clarets and Weston u11s gaining free entry after their performance last weekend. 🏅

Wow!!!!!! What a day for youth football in Gloucestershire!

This morning 14 teams competed in the GrassRoute Cup and Shield at PJs old stomping ground, Whitecroft FC

It was a beautiful morning for football, not just because of the weather. The quality of football on show was fantastic, with all teams competing at a high level. A credit to grassroots football and coaches alike.

Both the Cup and Shield finals went the distance, with both finishing up on penalties!

It was Winnie's Broadwell Clarets Broadwell Amateurs Youth Football Club that took home the cup, after a tight game against Minchinhampton. Weston were the winners of the Shield after a local derby against Ross Juniors. It's no surprise that both victor's featured players from our partners The GrassRoute Elite

We'd like to take this time to thank everyone that helped from boywonder on the gate, our referees Dan, Liam & Cam, to Sam in the bar. Not to mention Whitecroft Football Club for allowing us to use their facilities.

This felt big, but the next one will be bigger!
