A brilliant 4th place in the senior singles Devizes to Westminster 2026 race for Tom - a very tight race in his first year as a senior and first DW. Well done!

Massive congratulations to Mary and Ben who won the junior/veteran Devizes to Westminster 2026 race! That’s 2 wins for Ben in this category - having won with his daughter Delilah in 2023 - and 2 years in a row for Wey Kayak Club. An absolutely brilliant performance from a crew that came together at the Watersides and decided to continue to race DW hours before the entry deadline. Well done!

February 1st is the fourth in the Wey Kayak Club winter series Hare & Hounds / Dash Hounds races. Pre-register via our website or turn up - by 9.45am for Dash Hounds or 11am for Hare & Hounds. Look forward to seeing you there!

We’re all set for Hare & Hounds 3 tomorrow - the race is expected to go ahead but if anything changes we’ll post here first thing in the morning. Dash Hounds is cancelled due to river conditions.

Great day at Hare & Hounds 2 today - and great to see paddlers from newly formed Brentford Canoe club join us!

Turned into a beautiful day for the first of the Thames Series K2 at today. Great racing from 26 Wey paddlers today, including a win for Paul T & Karen T in class 3; 3rd for Nadia W & Edith C in class 3; and 2nd for Emily H & Sophia C-McI in class 4.
