Another World Skiing and Snowboard Centre

The end of an era
After much talk and thought over the last few years we have made the extremely tough decision to close the skiing side of our business.
For many reasons – lack of lasting snow, the need to replace kit, the way the centre now works and has been rebuilt – we will not be opening for skiing and snowboarding from now on.
We have put this decision off for years because of the atmosphere and immense fun we have had with our customers / friends / likeminded ski bums – après ski addicts, you have no idea how much we will miss this.
If we get snow and we are not enjoying some snow elsewhere we will open our slopes for people to enjoy sledging and our café & indoor heated areas for hot drinks & grub but please don’t assume if there is snow we will be here, we will tell everyone what we are doing on Facebook.
We want to say a very heartfelt thank you to everyone that has helped make Another World Skiing & Snow boarding such a massive part of our history, we will miss you all. (actually got quite emotional writing this x)

Important Message.

Due to the current situation and government guidelines, the activity centre has had to temporarily close, hopefully this won't be for long, we will post on our page when we can open.
The skiing & sledging will not be open at all this season.

It looks great but we've only got 2 to 3 inches of snow, not enough to open the skiing.
It's below freezing but it has stopped snowing so fingers crossed we get some more overnight.

We've had a couple of inches snow, not enough for the snow sports.
Are normal activities are up and running.

IT'S TOMORROW!!!

It's the eve of our favourite party of the year so thought we better try the peach schnapps and while we're at it, answer a few questions about tomorrow night's party -
When is it? TOMORROW NIGHT 7.30 kick off,

Do we need tickets? no but if you don't let us know by message or email and we're full then I'm afraid we're full,
Do we have to dress up? No but we do and we love it when other's join in with the spirit- old ski gear even lederhosen and derndl is also perfectly acceptable,
Do we have to be able to ski? Nope, we know plenty of people who go skiing for the apres ski rather than rhe skiing - DONT WE? (Mentioning no names).
Is there a band on? No, this is an apres ski party- loads of proper 'catchy, euro, old school', music you just can't keep still or quiet to and a DJ thats madder than most.
Will there be any daft games- this is Another World, you shouldn't even have to ask that.
