Join Us for Armed Forces Day 2026

Come along and celebrate with us on Saturday 27 June, 12pm – 4pm at Gadebridge Park for a fantastic day out for all the family.

This free community event has something for everyone, including:

Don’t forget to sign up for our “Murder at the Bake Off” experience, just £5 per person for a 30 minute interactive session where you can learn how to be a real detective 🕵️‍♂️

Right now, we’re busy doing our final checks to make sure everything is in tip‑top condition and ready for lots of splash‑tastic fun.

Don’t miss our exciting 30‑minute detective workshop for ages 7+, just £5 per person.

The village Bake Off has taken a shocking turn… the reigning champion has been found dead in the judging tent! Join a real Detective, examine clues, use genuine forensic tools (including fingerprint dusting) and decide whodunnit.

This is part of the wider Armed Forces Day event taking place in Gadebridge Park.

Please note, the splash park will be closed tomorrow (Saturday 5 July) and Sunday 6 July.
With this weekend’s cloudy weather forecast, we are taking the opportunity to do some essential maintenance in the pump room in preparation for the school holidays.
We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. The splash park will be open as normal on Monday 7 July.

The splash park kiosk will still be open, pop down for some refreshments or a walk around the park with a refreshing drink.

🌞 Don’t forget your sunscreen - this weekend is going to be a hot one!
👣 Only water shoe are allowed in the splash area
🚫 No food or drink, dogs or scooters in the splash area
🧒 Children must be supervised at all times
💩 Please remember to wear swim nappies and take your little ones for regular toilet breaks to help us keep the water clean and the park open!

Unfortunately, due to a contamination incident this afternoon, the splash park will be closed for the remainder of the day. Our water filtration and sanitation system needs to run a full cycle to ensure the park is safe and clean for all users.
We understand this may be disappointing, but the health and safety of our community is our top priority.
🌊 The splash park will reopen at 10AM tomorrow morning.
