KOOL KICKERS LINE DANCING
I am sure we are all jumping up and down for joy at the welcome of some rain today – at least the gardens have had some watering.
We carry on throughout August with all the birthday’s and the fabulous cakes and goodies we enjoy. We all love our 15minute break as it gives everyone chance to make firm friendships. Thank you Anne for the goodies this week at Much Birch and Sandra (Phillips) for the cake on Tuesday. Next week it is my turn to provide cakes for the Tuesday class and Sandra again for the Wednesday class.
I missed my Monday class last week and look forward to seeing you all again next Monday.

You are all no doubt aware that Sandra has memory problems but continues to dance at all 4 of my classes each week. Line Dancing keeps Sandra going all the time. She helps me with the equipment setting up and collecting the money, for which I am eternally grateful.

Sweet Jamaica is a dance we have been doing for several months. Sorry I am hopelessly behind with the videos and this is due to a number of reasons.
After a two hour teaching and dancing session I have been totally exhausted and it has been too hot to do the videos in my conservatory.
The other reason is I feel at the moment that I am holding down a full time job following all the world wide publicity my interviews have created. The latest contact is The Times of China.

KOOL KICKERS LINE DANCING
It really is a struggle teaching line dancing in this extreme heat. I know it is a struggle for all you dancers as well. I appreciate the amazing turn out we have had in all classes this week. We try our best to keep the hall as cool as possible by taking portable fans and encouraging you all to have regular breaks and drinks. We didn’t manage to cover as many dances but that really doesn’t matter, as we have spent longer walking through dances you are unsure about.
We have had a number of birthdays this week. Last night it was Carol’s birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed her fabulous lemon curd sponge. Carol (Mr Kipling) makes exceedingly good cakes’. Next week it is Anne’s (Todd) birthday so again we are in for a treat. Anne let me know which dance you would like and I will include it in the playlist.
6 of us set out from Hereford to Malpas last Saturday to join Rhys at his Retro dance social. We had a fantastic evening and enjoyed dancing to Ty Rivers. Ty played a great mixture of old and new dances. It is lovely to see him back on the circuit.
