Special teams, special players, special plays.

Troy is no stranger to special teams mvp due to his returning talents. Consistent, hard running effectively allowed the offence to start with good field position, allowing for the boys to go out and put another 40 on Ouse.

Great work Troy!

Next up is offensive MVP Dan Marshall. Delivering pancakes and bullying d-lineman is not unusual for Dan. It's just another Sunday.

Great work

Game 7 tomorrow means we need to find out the MVPs for our game against Ouse. A huge win that saw us take the eastern division championship.

Iwan back from injury - introduced himself in the only way he knows how. Sacks.

3 sacks in his return game ensured Ouse struggled all day.

Tomorrow. Game 7.

The 6-0 Cardinals travel for their last away game of the regular season. Having played Norwich twice already this year, Ipswich looks to go 7-0 with a win against a gritty Norwich team.

Wish them luck!

One of our own is doing a 24 hour relay for life to raise money to fight cancer. Cancer sadly affects all of us in one way or another.. Troy was born with cancer, thankfully managing to beat it at a very young age. Unfortunately, he lost his nan and his kids nannie to cancer, so it's very important to him to help beat it.

Please donate through the link below (or in bio on instagram) to support his effort in this fight to stop cancer, any amount helps in the fight against cancer.

Ipswich Cardinals Seniors Official vs Ouse Valley Eagles 21st June 2026

Following our Fathers day fixture a couple of weeks ago, we've had a dad reach out to us this week to tell us about his son Harry.

Harry Nunn is 12 years old, him & his Dad (Steven) both love American football and have indeed spent a few years supporting the Cardinals.

Harry has recently taken to the wonderful (but tricky) world of sports photography and managed to take some fantastic pictures of the boys during the last game!

A massive shout out to Harry and his Dad for sharing these with us! We look forward to seeing you hopefully at the next game!

Tomorrow, 28th June, is International PKU Day, and the Cardinals family is tackling awareness head-on!
For those who don't know, Phenylketonuria (PKU) is a rare metabolic condition. One of our very own Cardinals players has two young kids living with PKU every single day. Their bodies can't break down an amino acid called phenylalanine, meaning regular meat, dairy, bread, and pasta are completely off the table.
Living with PKU takes immense discipline, and even just coming out to support the Cardinals on game day requires a massive team effort. Every single trip to football involves hours of meticulous planning—from calculating and preparing highly specific low-protein food to packing medical supplements.

On the sidelines, it truly takes a village. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our wider Cardinals family—the other parents, partners, and team members who step up to help encourage food intake and provide an extra pair of hands when it's time for tube feeding.
In football, we talk about backing your teammates. But the real MVPs are the families navigating these challenges together.

To see what daily life looks like for a PKU family and to follow their journey, check out mary_pku! Let’s send some big Cardinals love to all the PKU warriors out there.

The Ipswich Cardinals are proud to announce we’re supporting the Sealand Seahawks pineapple movement within our club.

Mental health means a lot to us, not just our players, coaches and staff, but also anyone else we come into contact with.

We know we’re not trained professionals, but research shows that just having someone to talk to can massively reduce the likelihood of someone taking their own life and having a simple method to contact people breaks down a major barrier in people not having the vocabulary to say, “I need help.”

So if you’re struggling, send anyone in the Cardinals organisation either the word ‘Pineapple’ or a 🍍 emoji and we WILL respond and lend an ear.

Mental health matters, you matter.

For more details, give Sealand Sports a shout.
