Today I had the opportunity to give a presentation to 30 incredible ladies about injury prevention — something I genuinely never would have imagined myself doing a year ago!

Looking back over the last year, I feel incredibly proud of how far this little business has come. It’s been full of new experiences, challenges, opportunities and, most importantly, so many wonderful people.

The part I’ve enjoyed the most has been supporting people through their rehabilitation, helping them get back to the things they love, and being a small part of their journeys.

Progress isn't always about moving faster or lifting heavier. Sometimes, it's about finding the confidence to take the first step.

When I first met this client, they were unable to walk without a rollator frame and felt extremely anxious about entering the hydrotherapy pool.
Fast forward to today, and the progress has been incredible—not just physically, but in their confidence, independence, and self-belief.

As a physiotherapist, my role is about so much more than prescribing exercises.
It's about:

✔️ Taking the time to understand each individual
✔️ Building trust and confidence
✔️ Creating personalised rehabilitation plans
✔️ Supporting clients through challenges and setbacks
✔️ Celebrating every milestone, no matter how small

Every client's journey is different, and that's why I believe rehabilitation should never be a one-size-fits-all approach.

I don’t believe in handing someone a generic sheet of exercises and sending them on their way.

Your programme is carefully selected around your goals, your abilities, your environment and what you actually need to work on. Exercises are progressed, adapted and reviewed as you improve.

Seeing clients regain confidence and independence is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do ❤️

After undergoing an emergency above-knee amputation at the age of 89, this client was discharged home with very limited physiotherapy and reliant on a wheelchair.

Since working together through regular home rehabilitation sessions, he has made incredible progress:
✔️ Improved upper body strength
✔️ Safer transfers
✔️ Increased independence with day-to-day tasks
✔️ Able to move around indoors using a frame
✔️ Improved confidence and mental wellbeing

Our shared goal is to prepare him for prosthetic leg approval — and we are so proud of how far he has come already 👏
