The Farmer family would like to thank everyone for their kind messages following Jimmy’s sad passing.
For those wishing to attend the funeral, it will be at Bishopbriggs Crematorium at 16:30 on Tuesday 9th June, before raising a glass at the Kirkintilloch Rangers Supporters Club. All are welcome to attend.
All at Kirkintilloch Rob Roy FC wish to say how sorry we are to hear of the passing this morning of Club Member and long time supporter Jimmy Farmer, father of our Club Secretary, Kenny, and grandfather of Member Daniel.
A supporter for many decades, Jimmy was revered among supporters for his friendly demeanour and fierce support for our Club.

Kirkintilloch Rob Roy FC are officially a SFA Member Club 🔴⚫️🏴
Following the announcement that the Club’s application for membership of the Scottish Football Association was approved by the board, membership became effective on Thursday 28th May 2026 following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of the Scottish FA held at Barclays Hampden.
Neil Anderson and Chic Doyle attended the Annual General Meeting to receive the club’s certificate of membership personally from the Scottish FA President.
This is a great achievement for the Club and thanks go to all who helped to make this possible.
