Competition for minor places

Champions BILFs only drew tonight against Unbowlievable but still widen the gap to second place to 27 points. After a fierce competition for second place, last week's second Premier Shandy were overtaken by Bowled Over who jump from fourth. Our Balls Work rise a place to fourth. Only one point separates second from third and third to fourth. Brothers Grimm, after a strong recent run, rise two places to fifth.

Kev was top scorer with 534 (612 with handicap) with Luke and Paul Simmons also reaching 500. Paul's 513 was 39 higher than his previous high score in this league and with handicap his 651 was the best this week.

Berenice had a new high game - 15 higher at 183 (241, the best of the week)

Steve Emmony got a 5-10 split.

Race for 3rd!!!

First and second place are pretty much decided but 3rd place is a different story.

Presentation Night is planned for Tuesday 3rd June @ Cuisine Of India. Please let us know if you can attend. If insufficient members can make that date we may have to move it 👍🏻

BILFs Odds-on to win!

BILFs could only draw tonight against Pin Pals but they still extended their lead over the chasers who all lost. They now lead by 17 points over Bowled Over with just 3 weeks or 36 points to play for.
Bowled Over and Young Tigers in second and third keep their places but they are being pressed by a resurgent Premier Shandy who after a bad run of losses now have four big wins in a row to jump from sixth to fourth, only five points behind second.

Steve Butterworth, playing for Ballerz, was top scorer with a 518 series (629 with handicap) including tonights only 200 game - 200 (237) his first this season. Wayne, playing for Split Happens, improved his high score for the season by 23 to 512 (641 - the best handicap series tonight)

Terry E's only good shot of the night converted a 5-10 split.

In the Plate competition the highlight was Split Happens (Tom and Wayne) record high score for the event, 862.
