As we start the new term, here is a reminder of the benefits of a Pilates Class 💙
The classes are as much for the mental benefits in addition to the physical.
Each hour is your time out from the world of stress, emails and social media.
Please do not use your phone in class, each time it lights up it jolts you out of your body and the present moment and can be distracting for others.

Obviously if you are waiting for an important phone call from the doctor, hospital or loved one that is ok, please have the phone on vibrate near you and take the call outside the class.

Mental health awareness is important all year round 🩵
In Leicester there are a few men's mental health support groups

Runs a weekly and chat on Saturday mornings and free fitness sessions on Sunday mornings plus events throughout the year. They also do the same for women with their Sisterhood group.
Use the website or search Instagram for them.

Andy's Man club has several groups running in Leicester and Market Harborough

I'm sharing this again as its really important to keep talking about mental health to raise awareness that you don't have to go through things alone. If you are struggling talk to someone, especially the guys you don't have to go through it on your own. I'll share the men's mental health groups in Leicester on another post and if you are not in Leicester https://andysmanclub.co.uk/ now covers the UK so look for a group close to you 🩵
