Welcome to the Darnford Development Centre.🤩

After two and a half years we have rebranded due to the growth and variety we offer. What started off as a gym used for classic muscle gain and weight loss has turned into something much more.

Over the last couple of years we have had a range of clients in the gym. Ageing from 13-85, tailoring to each of their needs in a different way. Whether it be an introduction in showing you how to use the gym or rehabilitation. No task is too tall!

Different to JC23, we have also been teaming alongside Whittington soccer centre in 1:1 football coaching. Offering technical and specific sessions to the players needs whilst also making sure they are enjoying themselves. Alongside myself Jake, there is also Max, Mia and Harry on board carrying out their own sessions.

Football has truly been a lifeline for Bella (15).
After a tough start at secondary school, she struggled badly with anxiety and panic attacks, and for around 18 months she barely left the house. Then, inspired by the Lionesses, she started watching women’s football — and something just clicked. A spark was lit.

A little over a year ago, Bella began one-to-one sessions with the brilliant Jake Coakley, who has helped her rebuild not just her skills, but her confidence too. She now plays weekly for a local league team and loves coaching the younger girls at Whittington Soccer Centre.

Alongside her online schooling, she fits in as much football as she can — even completing FA courses to learn more about the game. Whether she ends up playing professionally or takes another path within women’s football, one thing’s certain: the game has given Bella her purpose, her confidence, and her future back.

What started as just 16 pals playing against each other as England vs the Celtic nations on a single day and a bit of a laugh has grown into a 3 day event that will see nearly 20% of the Membership take a part for their team on one of the days.

We are honoured that we now have representatives from 12 different countries either directly or ancestrally over this weekend.

We have flags from all these countries proudly flying over the golf course and clubhouse

We’ll compete each day then watch our lads in New York over a few 🍻show us how it’s meant to be done!!! 🇪🇺
