A fab day for the bees last night! Some incredible skills on show and despite some disruption with training facilities, the girls adapted well and shone on court. Well done to the superstars and trainers of the night!

Last night's session focused on building our movement foundations, with the girls working hard on balance, landing technique, and plyometric exercises to improve their jumping power and elevation.

There was plenty of energy, determination, and laughter throughout the evening as the girls challenged themselves through a range of movement drills before putting their skills into practice during match play.

Our certificate winner, Jess, enjoyed herself so much she didn't want to leave! ๐ŸŒŸ

A special shoutout goes to Veronica, our Superstar of the Night, who produced an incredible leap to receive the ball before confidently converting a fantastic goal during match play. What a moment! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ

Well done to all the girls for their effort, attitude, and enthusiasm. We can't wait to see how these foundations help us grow throughout the season! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค

๐Ÿคบ๐Ÿ WARRIOR BEES ๐Ÿคบ๐Ÿ y3/4 prem ๐Ÿ
A tough game v y4 warrington in a noisey sports hall. We started well but missed our chances to convert q1 & some accurate shooting from Warrington seen us chase the game from the off. 8-2 down at half time & a regroup allowed warriors to re engage Q3 with some lovely link up play between Sam & Sophia & strong defence by Millie made it a 6-5 loss Q3. A win 4-3 Q4 but the clock beat us. An 19-11 loss but an amazing effort.
OPOM - Ivy - took a heavy fall and got back up.
CPOM - Sophia - Great resillience & boosted us Q3.

vs Warrington Wildcats
Super quick game today - the girls were flying down the court. We stuck to what we knew would win it: relentless defence, pressure, and forcing plenty of 3โ€‘seconds. It paid off with a solid 12โ€“6 win.
CPOM โ€“ Violet - nonstop work rate, gave absolutely everything
OPOM โ€“ Dotty - super speedy, always in the right spot to keep the attack flowing

๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ BUZZER BEES ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ y5/6 div2๐Ÿ
took on 2nd place Nellies Nitro, we knew it was going to be a tough game but our girls didnโ€™t let that stop them & we had a narrow lead going into Q4, the girls had fire in their bellies, linking up beautifully in attack & defence, as a collective the girls did everything that was asked of them on court.
A nail biting game & in q4 unfortunately Nellieโ€™s took the lead winning 16-15.
CPOM- Freya - a force in defence bringing options across the court.
OPOM- Halle - worked brilliantly in attack using space & linking beautifully with Beatrice.

๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ FLOWER BEES ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ y5/6 div 3๐Ÿ
Took on Penketh Panthers Jets in what started as a fast paced game, the girls showed how strong their teamwork is and managed to keep the pressure on Jets during Q1, we showed some great movement & won Q2 with the score 11-10 to us, unfortunately we didnโ€™t take advantage of the free player & Jets capitalised in Q3 & 4. 15-21 loss.
OPOM Raeya, applied training from our masterclass, kept tight & on an angle
CPOM Poppy, great movement & shots within the D, did amazing playing out of position.

๐Ÿฏ๐ŸHONEY BEES ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿ Y5/6 Div 1 ๐Ÿ
very unlucky today. Our defence absolutely smothered Nellies Flameโ€™s attack & made it extremely difficult for them to move the ball through court. The game finished 22โ€“19. We made a few mistakes that we simply couldnโ€™t afford & they capitalised on it.
A huge thank you to Alice from Stingers, who stepped in & was superb throughout ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
OPOM & CPOM: Neve
Neve was outstanding today. Her timing was perfect, excellent movement, strong passing & shooting.

โค๏ธ๐ŸBUMBLE BEES โค๏ธ๐Ÿ Y5/6 div 3๐Ÿ
took on a very strong Northwich Sapphires & it was a tough game. It took us a while to get going & Northwich capitalised on this. Our girls dug deep & never gave up the fight.
OPOM-Jorgie - held her own against a strong opposition & had a whopping 10 interceptions
CPOM-Charlotte - played well & helped turn the game around in attack
Big shout out to Robyn who played her 1st game with us
loss 21-7

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ QUEEN BEES ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ Y5/6 prem ๐Ÿ
29 - 16 Win
Queens faced a strong Hawks Cyclones side. Despite making the first moments of the game more difficult than they needed to, the girls remained calm, cool and collected resulting in a good score ๐Ÿ
OPOM - Polly - great pressure against an excellent GA and forcing errors throughout the court ๐Ÿ‘
CPOM - Georgia - absolutely outstanding today! So many interceptions and tips throughout the court and always looking to help carry the ball through the court ๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ–ค๐ŸSTINGER BEES ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ Yr5/6 Div 1
An incredible display of resilience from Stingers V Nellieโ€™s Halo today: Trailing 10-5 at HT they dug deep, listened to feedback, kept their heads up & turned the game around to secure a 23-18 WIN
OPOTM: Amber โ€“ ๐Ÿ”ฅ in the shooting circle, radiating confidence through attack.
CPOTM: Eryn โ€“ fierce body-on-body defence at GK, creating vital turnovers and giving us real confidence in defence.

โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ LIGHTNING BEESโšก๏ธ๐Ÿ Y1/2 prem๐Ÿ
Another brilliant game for Lightning today. We listened to our coaches and shortened our passes to improve our accuracy, which paid off with some lovely passages of play through the court. We started strongly in the first quarter with some fantastic goals and maintained that momentum throughout the game. A well deserved win for the girls!
Win 8-3
POM โ€“ Penny paired brilliantly with Eliza and was rewarded with two great goals.
CPOM โ€“ Eliza was on fire, scoring five goals and demonstrating some fantastic passing to her teammates.

๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ ORCHID BEES ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ Y3/4 Div 1 ๐Ÿ
Another strong comeback this morning for Orchids against Nellieโ€™s Ravens this morning. We know these are always very competitive & well contested games. Both teams were evenly matched finishing Q1 2-2. However we let our guard down Q2 & with no attempts at goal Nellieโ€™s took the lead. We struggled to find momentum Q3 but came back fighting Q4 to finish on a draw of 9-9.
OPOM Sophia who made some lovely drives & created space.
CPOM Charlotte last game for a few weeks & her fight & determination was clear to see
