A champion, silver medalist and semi finalist. Well done to our team of boxers, AR, Faisal and JB. With AR and Faisal moving up a weight category to be able to box the silverware was very well deserved.

At the weekend AR boxed in the semi final and final of the National Junior Championships. He came away with a silver medal. We are incredibly proud and although it wasn’t the result we wanted, number 2 in the country is a huge achievement. One we will build on! Well done AR and thank you coach Yilmaz for giving up your weekend with some extremely long days.

A great weekend for Hawley ABC. First round stoppage win from Izzy against a very game opponent and AR wins his semi final to make it to today’s National Junior Championship final! Well done Izzy and good luck AR!!
