That’s a wrap on Classical Pilates in Kefalonia 2026!!

These were probably the easiest teasers we did all week. 😂

We had an incredible group, working hard and progressing fast doing 2 classes per day plus a butt-busting hill to walk up!

Stay tuned for more photos…couldn’t resist posting this one right away.

Save the first week of June 2027 for our next week in Greek paradise.

A peek into our first three days of The Kefalonia Classical Pilates retreat 2026.

The difference between day 1 and day 3 was incredible. 💪 😅

Lots of amazing food and drink in between. 😋

One of my favorite moments of our Kefalonia Classical Pilates retreat 2026 so far.
Going over front splits with the aid of a chair, and everyone was blown away by Ros’ control. The murmurs of well timed appreciation sent us all into fits of laughter.

Classical Pilates is about precision but who says you can’t have fun while doing it!!

Working with the beautiful Rachel Merga is such a treat!!

I’ve always called this one Free Chiro (chiropractic) as you get such an incredible release in your spine.

How much do I love the surprise in Becky’s voice when she found her connection on the Pull Up!

It wasn’t quite happening on the Wunda, so taking it to the high chair meant she couldn’t cheat it…the back board put her upper body in the exact place it needed to be.

Well done Becky!! 👏 👏 👏

Again, part of the beauty of classical pilates is that we have different apparatus to teach different bodies.

If you’re only doing Reformer Pilates, you’re missing a huge part of the work and denying yourself finding the precise connections that your personal body might need.

Wow!! A fabulous Spine Corrector workshop yesterday.

The look on people’s faces when I say now do a Teaser to the Top 😬😵‍💫😳

But, with correct spotting, the body learns to feel safe and what connections are needed to take it to the top. 🙌

Here’s a little peek at their first go’s. They ALL later went on to do it by themselves…sometimes when my back was turned hmmm 🤔

We will also be using some spine corrector in the scoliosis workshop on June 27th.

Lucy’s progress during pregnancy. 💪 🙌

Chest expansion on the pedi-pole is one of the best exercises you can do during pregnancy.

As we’ve been working on keeping her feet aligned and strong, we can now bring that into an arm and postural exercise.

As your bump gets bigger, the body tries to compensate by leaning backwards, putting a lot of pressure on the lower back.
Finding the “plum line” of her posture made Lucy feel much more lifted and longer in her torso.

I practiced pilates almost daily until I gave birth…um, quite a few years ago now!
I had no back pain and used no drugs during childbirth.
Ok, call me crazy, but Pilates helped me all the way through!

Hoping for the same kind of smooth sailing for Lucy. 🥰
