What an amazing achievement for Blitzer Vicky Lack last weekend - 13km Thames Marathon Swim.

From Henley to Marlow incorporating 3 locks getting out and back in the water and swimming for 4 hours and 23 minutes!

Just wow. And Vicky wondered why her shoulders felt a bit sore 😂 Congratulations!

Many congratulations to our fabulous Blitzer Suzie Brown who not only successfully completed a half marathon at the weekend but also reached her fundraising target.

So there are now sufficient funds to install the bench in memory of her dear friend, neighbour and our community committed Andy Sutch at Palewell Common in East Sheen.

Thank you to everyone who supported. Suzie you’re a star ⭐

Congratulations to our brilliant endurance Blitzers who have been busy cycling to Europe this weekend to raise money for their primary schools.

Fran covered 275km to Amsterdam for St Mary Magdalen’s School in Mortlake.

Whilst Laura and Alistair did battle with extreme weather conditions for 280km to Bruges for Thomson House School.

You guys are all amazing. Hope the fundraising has been successful. All that hard training has certainly paid off!!

What a wonderful few days celebrating our 10 years of Kefalonia fitness with BeyondBeach. Action packed Blitz, Pilates, cycling, swimming, SUP, sailing, windsurfing, yoga and not forgetting laughing, chatting and dancing with a fabulous group of women.

Thank you to the brilliant, patient watersports team led by Hugo, the calm and restorative yoga with Nel, the top cycling routes with Noah.

And of course as always we are grateful to the amazing Lazaratos family for looking after us all so well.

Huge congratulations to Colin and Sally who successfully completed half and full marathons respectively this weekend in Norway with Tromso being the most Northern marathon in the world!

Our South Africa based Blitzers are frequent visitors to East Sheen Blitz so we’re allowed to show them off and take some of the credit 😂

It’s that time of year again when and .alleyne.3 do battle with Blenheim Triathlon. They don’t get any easier especially in yesterday’s challenging weather conditions, but the advantage of being in the more “mature” end of the competitors and relatively fit is that you can do well. We finished 2nd and 10th in our age categories!

Blitz team event next year? Put 5/6th June 2027 in your diaries!

is a big event (7000 competitors over the weekend) but really well organised, beautiful location and very friendly and welcoming to beginners as well as experts. Top GB athlete Jonny Brownlee joined us this year!

Great team relays too with one doing the swim, one on the cycle and one running.

Welcome to our new Blitz coach, Georgia Olley, who joined us last month. Georgia is a qualified personal trainer and Pilates instructor. Some of you will have already met her on zoom at our Online sessions. You will also see Georgia over the next few weeks helping us out at Blitz and Pilates sessions.
