Yesterday we got to celebrate one of Kew’s best people at the Middlesex in the community awards. Our Annie won the “Raising the Game” award, and it couldn’t be more deserved. 💚
If you’ve spent any time at Kew, you’ll know Annie: the heart of women’s and girls’ cricket, the person who welcomes you when you first time you turn up to a juniors session or a weeknight friendly, and our resident Pride drinker. 🍺
She gives up her Sunday mornings for the juniors and countless weekday evenings to make sure women’s training runs smoothly and there’s always a game to play. She cares deeply about making Kew a safe, welcoming place where everyone feels they belong.
Annie, you do so much for this club, always without a fuss. The Kewties and Juniors sections would not exist without you. It was lovely to see you get recognition for all that you do. We’re so proud of you. 🏏💚
