Meet Coach Sheena ⚔️
Sheena’s journey is one of the most inspiring stories in the TIBBS community. She joined us as a member lacking confidence, overweight, unfit and struggling to know where to start. Through incredible consistency, determination and resilience, she has transformed her life, losing an amazing 6 stone!!. I couldn’t be more proud of her 🙏🥹
Sheena is living proof that consistency beats perfection. She didn’t just change her body, she changed her mindset, and that’s why she’s such an inspiration to everyone who joins TIBBS Bootcamp.
Known as the mother hen of the team, Sheena is always the first to check in on others, offer encouragement or go the extra mile to help someone who needs it. Her care for the community comes naturally and is one of the reasons she’s so valued by both members and coaches alike.
She has also become the driving force behind our OCR and Spartan Race team. From organising events and motivating the group chats to making sure everyone feels supported, Sheena brings people together and inspires them to achieve things they never thought possible.
Today, Sheena is an outstanding coach whose energy, encouragement and genuine passion for helping others shine through in every session. She is a huge asset to TIBBS Bootcamp and a perfect example of what can happen when you simply refuse to give up.
Sheena’s journey embodies exactly what TIBBS stands for: 👇🏽

REGISTERED! Well… that escalated quickly 😂🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️
Last week I had a conversation with 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐁𝐄 he told me he was doing the full IRONMAN Barcelona in October and, if I’m honest, it lit a fire in my belly 🔥 Ive done Olympic distance a few times YEARS ago… but Ironman is another level🔝
I’ve always known i wanted to do an IRONMAN especially after talking to another friend years previously. It’s been one of those things sitting in the back of my mind for years. For whatever reason, after that conversation it just felt like the right time….
So rather than keep talking about doing one “one day”, a few days later I took action.
I’m officially registered for my first IRONMAN 70.3 in Portugal on 3rd April 2027. 🇵🇹
I’ve always needed challenges in my life. Something to work towards. Something that scares me a little and forces me to find out what I’m capable of…
Sport has given me some of the biggest lessons of my life. Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and everything in between have taught me that you don’t grow when everything is easy. You grow through discipline, consistency and showing up on the days you really don’t want to.
And I think that carries into everything.
I’m always trying to become a better version of myself, and at 43 I’ve got absolutely no intention of stopping pushing myself or seeing what this body and mind are capable of.
So this is the next challenge.
1.9km swim 🏊♂️
90km bike 🚴♂️
21.1km run 🏃♂️
I’m posting it here for one reason too: accountability. It’s out there now. No hiding. No excuses. 😂
236 days to put the work in.
Let the training begin. 🦾🔥🇵🇹

Meet Coach Ben ⚔️
Ben is one of the newest additions to our coaching team and we’re still not convinced he’s fully human. We’ve searched everywhere for the off switch, but we still can’t find it.
He is an outstanding coach whose professionalism, high standards and positive attitude make him an invaluable part of the TIBBS coaching team. With over eight years of coaching experience and as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, he brings exceptional knowledge, discipline and technical expertise to every session.
Known as “The BJJ Assassin,” Ben has a gift for developing people. Whether he’s refining technique, building confidence or helping members discover they’re capable of more than they ever imagined, his coaching is focused, challenging and built around helping every individual reach their potential.
He leads by example through humility, consistency and commitment to improvement, earning the respect of everyone who trains alongside him. Despite his nickname, Ben is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. His dry sense of humour keeps sessions enjoyable, while his attention to detail ensures every member continues to progress.
Whether you’re joining your very first Bootcamp or striving to reach the next level, Ben will encourage you, challenge you and support you every step of the way. He’s an exceptional coach, an elite martial artist and a valued member of the TIBBS Bootcamp family.
Like we said… we’re still not convinced Ben is fully human. But until someone finds the off switch, we’re just grateful he’s on our team.

Recovery changed my life 🙏 But it no longer defines my identity
I used to sit in recovery rooms and say:
“Hi, my name’s Matt, and I’m an addict.”
For a long time, those words became part of my identity.
I’m grateful for that season of my life. Those rooms gave me the foundations, the tools and the support I needed to become the man I am today. They helped me feel heard and seen when I needed it most.
I was proud of every day, every month and every year clean and sober, and rightly so. I still am.
But somewhere along the way, I realised I didn’t just want to be known for what I’d overcome. I wanted to be known for the man I was becoming.
Today, just over three and a half years clean and sober, I’m in a different season. Recovery will always be part of my story, but it no longer defines my identity.
The truth is, I still have an obsessive personality. That hasn’t disappeared. I’ve simply learned to redirect it.
Today I’m obsessed with being the best dad I can be, loving my family and partner, building my business, becoming a better man and growing in my faith.
…and, if I’m honest, I’m currently a little obsessed with ChatGPT and Claude too. 😂
But jokes aside…
The obsession didn’t disappear.
The direction changed.
The same intensity that once pulled me towards destruction is now the thing that pushes me towards growth.
If you’re struggling today, don’t spend your life trying to become someone else.
Redirect what you already have.
Your drive.
Your passion.
Your resilience.
Your discipline.
They aren’t your enemy.
They simply need a new direction.
Build your body.
Strengthen your mind.
Love your family.
Serve others.
Grow closer to God.
This isn’t a criticism of recovery or the fellowship. I have nothing but gratitude and respect for the people and the rooms that helped me, and I’ve made some amazing lifelong friends along the way. If that’s where you are, or where you need to be, I genuinely hope you keep going.
This is simply my story. Life has seasons, and today I’m in a different one.
Your past may explain you. It doesn’t have to define you.
Amen. 🙏⚔️
