Meanwhile, I’m over here surviving on caffeine, to-do lists and good intentions… while Her Royal Highness has perfected the art of professional napping. 😂🐾

Honestly, I aspire to have the confidence of a dachshund who contributes absolutely nothing to the household but still expects five-star service.

Tell me… who else has a pet living a better life than they are? 🤣💛

A week of chronic pain, fatigue and being stuck in bed…

…calls for the ultimate comfort show rewatch. ❤️🍁☕️

No matter how many times I watch it, Season 1 of Gilmore Girls still feels like a warm hug.

Sometimes healing looks like resting, hot drinks (ok Coke Zero) and Stars Hollow.

This week hasn’t been about productivity.

It’s been about surviving chronic pain, fatigue and waiting for answers. Plus ADHD has been on top form with RSD, brain fog and the rest!

So tonight I’m choosing comfort over guilt.

Gilmore Girls.
A cosy blanket.
An Ice Cold drink.
And hoping tomorrow is a little kinder and pain free. ❤️🍁☕️

💛 What’s your ultimate comfort show?

Some days, your brain lets you know it’s reached its limit… and today, mine definitely has. 🫠💛

I woke up exhausted after spending the last few days in full-on ADHD hyperfocus, listing what feels like my entire house on Vinted! 😂

Part of me wanted a fresh start. Less clutter, more space, and a home that feels calmer. The other part? I’m determined to finally pay off a debt that’s been following me around for years so I can start investing in my future and work towards owning a new home one day. (I miss my flat)

The tricky bit? ADHD can sometimes convince us that if we’re doing something, we have to do all of it, right now. Before you know it, you’ve used every last spoon and your brain is waving a little white flag.

So tonight, I’m listening.

No more productivity.
No more pushing through.
Just me, Sooty, funny dog videos, and letting my brain recover.

Because rest isn’t something you have to earn. It’s part of looking after yourself.

✨ Confession of an ADHD Coach: Even coaches have days where the best strategy is recognising their limits and giving themselves permission to stop.

Tell me… what’s your go-to “I’ve run out of spoons” activity? Mine is definitely funny dog videos. I laugh out loud and keeps me out of my own head!🐶😂

This is so relatable!

🧠 When my ADHD brain doesn’t have an answer...

..it invents one.

Over the last few months, I’ve been living with chronic pain, fatigue and a lot of unanswered questions.

The hardest question hasn’t actually been...
“What’s wrong with me?”
It’s been...
“How long is this going to last?”
And because nobody can answer that...
My ADHD brain desperately tries to.

Except it doesn’t usually invent a hopeful ending.
It writes a protective one.
“What if this never gets better?”
“What if I never get my independence back?”
“What if I can’t keep Neuro-Stitch going?”
“What if this is my life now?”
Sound familiar?
I’ve realised something.
My brain isn’t trying to upset me.
It’s trying to protect me from uncertainty by giving me an answer... even if it’s the wrong one.

Because uncertainty feels incredibly uncomfortable.

That realisation changed something for me.
Now, when I notice my brain writing the ending before the story has even unfolded...
I pause.

🕵️ Is this a fact?
Or is my brain trying to fill in a blank it can’t yet answer?

I’ve realised I don’t always need an answer.
Sometimes I just need to remind myself...
The story hasn’t finished yet.

💛Has your brain ever convinced you it knew exactly how a story was going to end... only for reality to turn out completely differently?
👇 I’d love to know if you’ve ever caught your brain doing this.
