I’ve been thinking a lot recently about how important representation is & how few female role models there are in tennis coaching 🙇🏼‍♀️

As a young female coach, I’ve sometimes been overlooked despite my qualifications, knowledge & experience. If anything, it’s only driven me further & made me more determined to show what I’m capable of.

I’m very grateful to have been given a lead coaching role & to be trusted for who I am & what I bring. Being a woman in a male-dominated career isn’t always easy, but I’m proud of where I am & will continue learning, helping players progress & most importantly, loving what I do.

I remember seeing Frankie’s Tennis among a team of male coaches when I was younger & thinking, I’d love to do that one day too! I hope I can be that same role model for other young girls, showing them that women belong in coaching & in lead roles too 🫶🏼🎾

So proud of my 10U’s who have battled it out all season against some very experienced players. They are still in their first year of competing & have completely held their own. Practice makes progress - keep going guys 👊🏼🎉🎾

A brilliant afternoon at David Lloyd Kings Hill with our 10U team 💙

Meyrem battled brilliantly in an epic singles match that went all the way to a deciding match tie-break & lost by just one point! Samuel found his rhythm later in the day & although both lost their singles, they were outstanding together in the doubles. They showed fantastic teamwork to win in straight sets 🎉

So much to be proud of today & a great way to finish our first season in the Kent Youth League. We can’t wait to come back even stronger next year 💪🏼
