What is your goal?

Goals change over the years.

Here’s a great example from when I used to do powerlifting to now just keeping active and maintain an element of strength.

That’s why it’s so important to establish a goal after injury and what you want to return to back to doing.

Although I haven’t been injured, goals change over the years and that’s ok. They can also change during rehab, and that’s also fine.

A big factor to returning to activity or sport is creating a needs analysis of you and the thing you want to get back to. We will then work our way backwards to establish how treatment and rehab can be tailed for you, and the best way to get you there.

Yielding isometrics - holding against gravity/weight
GOAL - reduce pain

Overcoming isometrics - holding against an immovable object
