🟢⚫ NEW SIGNING | Welcome, Peter Watkinson!

We’re delighted to welcome Peter Watkinson to Acklam ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Peter joins us after some time away from the game. A product of Richmondshire Rugby, he found his way to Acklam, liked what the club was about and wanted to be part of the rebuild.

The prop has thrown himself into pre-season, working hard at every session and buying into what we’re trying to achieve.

We’re delighted to have Peter with us and look forward to seeing him in the black and green this season.

🏉 RETURNING TO RUGBY | Welcome Back, James Ffitch!

We’re delighted to welcome Ffitchy back to Acklam ahead of the 2026/27 season.

After spending some time away from the game, Ffitchy has returned to rugby and is already showing during pre-season that he’s still got plenty to offer.

Physically fit, strong over the ball and a real jackal threat, Ffitchy brings intensity and quality to the back row.
