We are hoping to see as many of you down on the 4th October to help get our club ready for the start of the season!

Summer tennis coaching sessions have been fun on Wednesday mornings.
We look forward to more junior coaching with a block starting in September.
Orange 5-6pm
Green 6-7pm

Courts a playing great and the development in our young players is excellent! Well done to everyone involved.

Tennis coaching was absolutely boiling this week but all the players absolutely smashed it!

Great to see the children enjoying their first block of coaching and the super progress they have all made.

That’s a wrap on another brilliant Squash Academy year before we take a break for the summer holidays. Every single player has worked incredibly hard, improved their game, grown in confidence, and most importantly, had fun. We couldn’t be prouder of you all! 💙

A massive thank you also goes to our amazing coaching team. They give up so much of their own time to make the academy what it is, and they’ve certainly earned a few well-deserved lie-ins over the summer! 👏

The academy may be taking a break, but the work behind the scenes continues. Our coaches will be planning exciting new sessions for September, purchasing and refreshing equipment using the money raised from our sponsored walk, and making sure we’re ready for another fantastic season.

⚽ One last question… is it coming home? 🤞🏆

Remember, if you’re a club member, the squash courts remain available throughout the summer—so keep practising and we’ll see you back on court very soon!

A huge congratulations to everyone who completed today’s Squash Academy sponsored walk up Roseberry Topping – with many of our fantastic youngsters even making the journey all the way back to the club! What a brilliant achievement, with plenty of determination, teamwork and smiles along the way.

A big thank you also goes to all the parents, guardians and supporters who gave up their time to help make the day such a success, and to everyone who has kindly sponsored our walkers. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Every penny raised will go directly towards purchasing new squash equipment for the Academy, helping us continue to develop young players and provide the best possible opportunities for them to enjoy and progress in the sport.

Well done everyone – you should all be incredibly proud! 💙🎉

🚶‍♂️🎽 Nunthorpe Squash Academy Sponsored Walk – Saturday 27th June 2026! 🎽🚶‍♀️

It’s that time again! Our annual sponsored walk is just around the corner, and we’re inviting all Squash Academy families (and supporters!) to get involved. 🌿👟

Let’s see if we can we beat last years world record of the most squash rackets at the top of Roseberry!! 💪 Let’s do this !!

📍 Meet at: Newton Under Roseberry Car Park
🕙 Set off: check your email/inbox for timings
💳 Parking: check your email/inbox for parking costs

Two walk options:
1️⃣ Youngest children climb Roseberry Topping – and back to Newton Under Roseberry car park.
2️⃣ Older kids + coaches continue back to the squash club – (it’s about an extra 5.5km)

🎒 Bring:
• Water bottle, packed lunch & snack
• Sensible shoes, weather-appropriate clothes (raincoat or sun cream!)
• Inhalers/hay fever meds if needed
• Long trousers for those sensitive to grass/nettles

✨ Children who raise £20+ will receive a brand-new Squash Academy T-shirt!

💬 Parents are welcome to join the walk – just let us know. And if you know a business that might support us (e.g., match funding), we’d love the help. Every penny raised goes back into the Academy for kit, equipment, and support for the kids. 🙌
