π Healthy Schools Week at Drayton Park Primary School π
We were delighted to support Drayton Park Primary School, Bletchley as part of their Healthy Schools Week, helping children discover fun and engaging ways to live healthier, happier lives.
Healthy Schools Week focused on six key areas that support lifelong wellbeing:
π€ Sleep
π§ Hydration
π§ Mental Health
π₯ Healthy Eating
π Exercise
π§Ό Personal Hygiene
Working alongside the school, The Swans Community Partnership delivered a series of exciting Calisthenics, Yoga and Boxercise sessions, giving pupils the opportunity to experience activities they may not normally have access to.
As Mr Lands, PE Coordinator, explained:
"Healthy Schools Week gives our children the chance to explore different opportunities on how to live a happy, healthy life by focusing on six key areas. We believe in supporting 'Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day' and expanding on that with activities they would not normally experience, such as calisthenics, yoga and boxercise."
One of our favourite moments came from Lylah, who told us:
π¬ "I loved the activities and now know how yoga can help me feel zen."
It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, confidence and positivity throughout every session, with pupils embracing new activities and learning how movement can support both their physical and mental wellbeing.
A huge thank you to all the staff and pupils at Drayton Park Primary School for making the programme such a success.
Together, we're helping young people build healthy habits for life. π

π’ Developing Young Leaders Through Futsal β½
We're proud to be teaming up with Bucks Futsal Club and The Radcliffe School, Milton Keynesto deliver something really special - the Community Futsal Leadership Programme!
Here's how it works:
π A group of Year 10 and Year 12 students have completed the CIMSPA-endorsed Football Leaders Award - learning coaching, communication, organisation and safeguarding along the way
π From September, these young leaders will plan and deliver weekly futsal sessions for our new Year 7s - helping them settle into secondary school, make friends, and feel part of the community from day one
π Working alongside coaches from Bucks Futsal Club and Swans, they'll build real confidence, leadership and employability skills - while being brilliant role models for the younger pupils
And it doesn't stop there. Bucks Futsal Club run community sessions at The Radcliffe School on evenings and weekends - so any Year 7s who catch the bug have a clear pathway to keep playing long after the programme ends.
This is what community sport is all about - young people leading young people, and building something that lasts. πͺ

β½π Creating More Inclusive Football Opportunities in Newport Pagnell πβ½
We're proud to be delivering the SwanAbility Programme - a new PAN Disability football initiative from The Swans Community Partnership, in partnership with Newport Pagnell Town Football Club and supported by Milton Keynes City Council.
Designed for children with disabilities and additional needs, SwanAbility is helping to remove barriers to participation and create accessible pathways into football for young people across our community.
π« Weekly sessions are currently being delivered at:
Giffard Park Primary School
Green Park School
Portfields Primary School
Cedars Primary School and Nursery
Delivered by experienced, qualified coaches, sessions focus on:
β½ Football skills
π Confidence building
π€ Social interaction
π Physical activity
π Fun and enjoyment
By introducing football in familiar school environments, children can develop at their own pace while building trust, confidence, and a love for the game.
The programme is also creating pathways beyond the school day, with opportunities for participants to progress into a dedicated FA Comets PAN Disability football programme at Newport Pagnell Town FC.
Already we're seeing children who may never have accessed football before building confidence, making new friends, and enjoying regular physical activity.
Together, we're committed to ensuring every child - regardless of ability - has the opportunity to experience the benefits of football and feel part of their local sporting community. π
