DURL returned to action after quite a lengthy break in a 9’s tournament hosted at York St John. We won 4 from 4 against Sheffield, York St John, Manchester and Bradford. Thanks to all the lads who made the journey down to York and for putting in some great performances. Everyone gave it everything on the pitch, but the standout player of the tournament had to be Matt Pearson for his dangerous running and numerous tries. Cheers to all the other teams for some great games of Rugby.

Today the time has finally come where we make our Northern Prem debut - as we welcome Leeds Beckett 1’s to Maiden Castle.
A huge day for the DURL with many years in the making.
Get down to 3G1 for a 1pm KO to support the lads.

For all those heading to Durham University this year, we would like you to know that you’re welcome to come and join Durham University Rugby League.
We’re on the lookout for new players to join the current team ahead of our first season in the Premier North division. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never played Rugby League before, or if you have played for years, you will be welcome at DURL.
DURL is a great place to play high level sport and make good friends. We have regular socials and events such as Old Boys.
