I’ve been using since February and love it. The scrolling elevation graph & offline access are brilliant features.
Regardless of the promo, I’m first and foremost a longtime user. Give it a go - it’s class and there’s a 30-day trial via the link in bio 😮💨

was too good - wish it wasn’t over… BUT, the vlog drops on Youtube this weekend to relive it all once again 🤩 Link in bio to subscribe ✌️

Months in the making and over in a blink of an eye. The TT meet-up was better than we could have ever hoped for. Seeing everyone race and support each other in the most picturesque setting is one for the memory bank. Ultra trail running community at its finest. Big love TT, big love 🙇♂️

New on test: X-Bionic TerraSkin X03.
Most people know X-Bionic from base layers. The TerraSkin is their trail shoe project, an integrated sock and shoe system designed to work as one unit. This one will be properly tested over the next month in the alps ⛰️
319g. 6mm drop. Pitched as the most cushioned model in the range, built for long days and first ultras.

First impressions: Kailas FUGA Yao Speed.
264g on the foot. 10mm drop. X-shaped 5-layer carbon plate. PEBAX supercritical foam claiming 70-72% energy return. Vibram Megagrip outsole.
Road-to-trail speed shoe rather than a technical trail racer. Early runs lean exactly where Kailas FUGA position them: hard-pack, paved approaches, fast efforts on mixed ground. It’s also been just fine on some proper trails 😉

It’s medal Tuesday because Monday I was 🥴, but…
What can ya say, all I wished for was a clean race at UTA. I knew what I’d run if it was a clean day. I taped the ankle and ran it like everything else - purely by feel and aiming for a steady effort. It worked out. I predicted 13:00. I ran 12:49. This is all I wanted.
OK, I’ve “done” UTA, so now I can run West Mac Monster next year 😮💨
Thank you to all those who cheered, the few that shouted “Trail Talk” or “when are you getting out here?” 😄. Thank you to for crew support at KAC, to the volunteers around the course and the finish. To the course markers - one of the better marked courses I’ve run.
Chamonix next week LFG 🤠

Am I meant to say the hay is in the barn or something?
This has been a unique training block. The emphasis has been on exploring and trying to do it a different way, all while doing the work - getting fitter with races and fun adventures along the way.
Coming back to UTA after the disappointment of last year’s Miler wasn’t something I was massively excited for, but the treasure is in the journey and this year has been full of treasures. Enough words - swipe for more 👉
