BOOM! π₯
Yes, we shook up the room....the Library in fact... at Belsay Hall, Castle & Gardens. FUN!!!
Look at our united rhythm but each of us UNIQUE.
Mothers and daughters, sisters, friends, dancing together ππΌ
π©· Love love love our Groove community π©·
My lovely Groove tribe π©· at Belsay Hall, Castle & Gardens last Sunday.
I'm still reflecting on our wonderful day of dancing around the grounds πΏ
For those who think it's just a 'silent disco' .......it's so much more...
Groove is a guided dance journey.... in a room (or in this case, a stunning English Heritage site!) full of completely different people, moving in their own way, yet completely connected.
No two people dance the same, but everyone is dancing together β sharing the same energy, listening to the same playlist, united rhythm, and simple moves.
I guide you through that...every step of the way.
At Belsay, that connection felt extraordinary. We were united in energy, unique in our expression and immersed in the beautiful environment.
There's real science behind Groove dance too: free movement to music lowers cortisol, boosts mood-lifting endorphins, and helps process emotion that words can't always reach. But beyond the physiology, it's about confidence β the kind that grows when you stop performing for others and start moving for yourself.
Every shake, stomp, wiggle, ....and stillness.
One of my groovers Julie said to me last night as we reminicsed about the groove at Belsay...."I love a good stomp" π©· oooh yeah
At Belsay, surrounded by nature, the freedom felt even more profound. We weren't dancing for anyone. We were dancing to FEEL β to explore, release, fully present and unapologetically ourselves.
Belsay's grounds gave us the perfect backdrop for connection, laughter, and pure joy.
I'm grateful for every soul who came to Belsay and grooved with me. A very special day. π©·β¨
