The almost full moon came up to say hello 🌕

A joined up Groove community...welcoming Groove Dance Therapy from Worcestershire...and two new groovers who travelled from the North West to dance with us.

A beautiful fusion of dance and deep rest this evening at The Exchange with Groove & Restore with the lovely Pam Scott.

60 minutes of Groove followed by 60 minutes of gentle somatic movement, Yoga Nidra and meditation. Just wonderful.

Guided by Pam, you’ll be gently led through somatic movement, deep stretches and Yoga Nidra — a powerful guided meditation designed to fully relax the body and calm the nervous system.

This is your time to pause, reset and take what you need.

Dancing among the ruins of a 7th century Benedictine monastery, under the soaring arches and inside castle towers, where monks roamed and Saints were buried.....a place that has seen kings (not too many Queens, until now obvs 😉), and the ravages of Viking invasions.......... well, it's not possible to put into words how that feels.

You just have to experience it.

I am very grateful to English Heritage and the amazing manager Kym and her team at Tynemouth Priory for looking after this magnificent site... and letting us groove here 🙏
