⚽️RESULT⚽️
After a long awaited return to Sunday morning football after the festive season, the boys welcomed Sixfield Rangers B to league action at Parklands.
The boys started the game strong and dominated possession from minute one. Dan P opened the scoring, after a lovely through ball was delivered down the left hand side by our left back Jack, leaving a neat bottom corner finish. 1-0 to the tigers 🐅
Unfortunately despite being in total control a costly mistake allowed the visitors back into the game and the score at the end of the first half was 1-1.
HALF-TIME: PARKLANDS TIGERS 1-1 SIXFIELD RANGERS B
Knowing that we should be in the lead, the lads came out for the second half looking to take all three points.
Amine found himself on the right wing and played a cross into the box for Dan P to flick on into the back of the net. 2-1 to the boys! A brace on the day for Dan P!
Shortly after, Mitch carried the ball up the pitch from defence, playing the ball to Julian who passed it to Dan P who completed a cheeky back heel pass back to Julian, who curled the ball from the edge of the box to nestle the top right hand corner! 3-1 & what a play⚽️
Next Julian found himself on the receiving end of Amines ball, and made sure to place in the corner for his brace on the day!! 4-1
And if that wasn’t enough the lads secured a fifth goal on the day, as Amine’s cross on the left hand side was turned in for an own goal by the Sixfield Rangers defender. 5-1!!!
The boys are buzzing to restart the season with a victory and remain unbeaten in 11 games 💪🏻 Next week the boys welcome Weekley Rovers Titans in the quarter finals of the Sunday Trophy ⚽️

⚽️RESULT⚽️
Yesterday morning, the lads took on Croyland Park Rangers Reserves, in the David Ferguson Trophy, looking to keep intact their 100% start to the campaign.
First half the lads started very well, with 3 goals within the first half an hour, which saw Marshall pick up his third of the season from a well reacted shot from the corner.
Next, an absolute wonder strike saw the ball rebounded out into the dead centre of the Croyland Half which was struck with such velocity and swerve into the bottom right hand corner by none other than Oli W. Goal of the season contender?
Next saw Jimmy react very quickly after another ball came in from the corner and directed home with his head at the back post. 3-0 to the tigers! 🐯
CROYLAND PARK RANGERS RESERVES 0-3 PARKLANDS TIGERS.
Second half saw the tigers really lose composure, which saw many opportunities missed and the frustration was building with the lads. Especially after Croyland CF scored a great goal on the edge of the box, around half way into the second half.
The lads frustrated after keeping 4 clean sheets in a row.
The lads knew the game was theirs to be one and saw an improvement after a well worked goal down the left was turned in off the crossbar by Amine. 4-1!!
FULLTIME: CROYLAND PARK RANGERS RESERVES 1-4 PARKLANDS TIGERS
Another good win for the lads as they make it 9 wins in a row, scoring 32 goals and conceding only 4.
Now the lads are focused on their final game before Christmas, as the take on Drayton Grange away in our final Groupstage game of the David Ferguson Trophy.
