A difficult to take 0-2 loss at home at the weekend against a strong and competitive Knowle FC team

We were second best in the first half – conceding the second as the referee below the half time whistle – but rallied in the second, keeping a clean sheet and pressing for a goal as the half progressed but too little too late..

Knowle FC look a good outfit so we dust ourselves down, learn what we can do differently and as a young new team look forward positively as we turn to FA Cup action this Saturday

The football scene is exciting in Northampton with Sileby Rangers one of three top local teams competing at Step Five

Managed by Brett Solkhon – ex Kettering Town – and assisted by well respected Scott Carlin, Sileby plays at the O'Riordan Bond Stadium, Fernie Fields NN3 6FR, considered by many to be the best non league facilities locally

We are excited about the 26-27 season and the squad Brett and Scott are building and this Saturday sees our first home game against Knowle FC – Kick Off 3pm – after gaining four points in our first two away games of the season

Hard fought away win last night against a good Yaxley FC team takes us to four points in the first two games of the season

Honours even in the first half but we kicked on in the second with two goals from Louie Barrett sealing a 2-0 win with all sixteen playing a part as the subs came off the bench and hit the ground running..

There is a noticeable difference this season….hard work, hunger, energy and a growing sense of team….lets keep building and working on becoming ‘comfortable being uncomfortable’…..it’s a key component in winners!

Good hard fought 0-0 draw away to the 24-25 league champions St Neots Town FC at the weekend

We had the better chances and were resolute at the back. Winning is energy, hunger and teamwork and there were really good signs of all three on Saturday epitomised by a great tackle in that ten minutes captured above

We move on quickly to our next match tomorrow evening – away at Yaxley Football Club, PE7 3NA with a 7.45pm Kick Off
