A ride of Marriotts Way with a cafe stop at Reedham. We missed out the Themelthorpe loop and cut across to Aylsham. Then picked up Bure valley to Wroxham and home. A lovely morning for it.

And for a change an afternoon ride to Aylsham. It therefore must be time for a tea and scone, how British or is that English, I'm no longer sure 😉. (That's meant to be satire 😁).

Suprisingly warm and humid day.. 45 miles to Winterton Post Office - a new stop for 3 of us. The day included an early heart-stopping coffee at Acle Bridge (!!)
One of us had a three stop ride... with a sneaky beer😱

Sue, Patrick, John and I enjoyed a ride out to the Post Office Tea Room in Reedham. After a short stop in Rackheath to allow John to do some shopping, we made our way to Acle to pick up Sue and then onwards to Reedham. Lovely weather allowed us to sit outside the cafe. Sue then led us on a cross country route back to Strumpshaw where we said our goodbyes. Lovely 😁.

We experienced a 'game of two halves' on this morning's ride. We rode out to Reepham and at times the wind was brutal, particularly between Buxton and Reepham. However, after well earned refreshments at Bread Source while sitting in the sunshine and watching the runners finish The Marriotts Way 10k, the return journey was a blast. A most enjoyable ride 😁

An eventful ride out to Hirsts Farm Shop & Cafe. On our way through Ranworth, Ian was stung by the old wasp in the helmet trick 🪲🪖. We then picked up Sue at Acle only for Ian to be stung again at Filby 🪲. We were met by JC at Hirsts, the coffee and bacon sandwiches were a treat, as was the chocolate fudge cake 😋. The positive chit chat (death, murder, su***de...) cheered us all up even further😂. Ian wisely took the car back with JC, while the rest of us had a less eventful ride home via Martham - note to self, and to members of a certain age, there are public toilets in Martham 🤪

7 out on a 50 mile cycle ride to Edgenoko at Ringsfield. A superb cafe stop and a place we’ll no doubt be visiting again soon.
