A quick reminder that the Annual Club Quiz Night and fundraiser is in just over two weeks time. If you have not already booked your places/table then contact Karen Isbill at [email protected]

If you are unable to make up a table of quizzers with other members, family and friends, but would still like to participate, let Karen know and she will arrange for you to be added to another table of quizzers (most of which include Club members).

The entry price of £15 per person includes:

the Quiz,
a Chilli and jacket potato meal midway through the quiz (Veggie option available)
the raffle
the heads and tails.

Please could we ask you to bring the right amount of cash to pay on entry - although we do have a card machine to trial for the first time.

Participants are asked to bring their:

own cutlery
glasses
condiments
drinks
nibbles.
Black bin bags will be provided for rubbish/waste, but could we ask that you take any empty (or part filled) glass bottles home at the end of the evening.

We look forward to welcoming you and your guests on 17 October to enjoy a challenging quiz evening and help us raise valuable funds to help maintain and improve facilities at the Club.

LTA Awards 2027 - Nominate Today

Do you know an amazing volunteer, coach, club, venue, official, young person or programme making a real difference?

Norfolk Tennis is encouraging everyone across the county to nominate the people, places and projects that deserve to be recognised.

A nomination should be between 100-500 words, and the relevant criteria will be shown when you select your chosen award on the nomination form.

Nominations close on 30 November 2026.

Cathie Sabin Volunteer of the Year – someone who volunteers in any capacity in tennis or padel.
Club of the Year – a tennis or padel club of any shape or size.
Coach of the Year – a coach working at grassroots, club or community level.
Competition of the Year – a tennis or padel competition of any size.
Lifetime Achievement Award – someone who has volunteered in tennis or padel for more than 30 years.
Official of the Year – an official working at any level of tennis or padel.
Park Venue of the Year – any park venue delivering tennis or padel.
Performance Coach of the Year – a coach working with performance players.
Protect Where We Play Award – recognising outstanding work and commitment to sustainability.
School of the Year – any school delivering tennis or padel.
Tennis Opened Up Award – an individual, programme or project demonstrating outstanding inclusion and helping to make tennis or padel more accessible.
University of the Year – any university delivering tennis or padel.
Young Person of the Year – someone aged 14–24 who volunteers or helps in any capacity in tennis or padel.

He’s gone!
A huge thank you to Barnaby for his outstanding service to us, and Norfolk Tennis over the last 3 years. He’s off travelling with his girlfriend, Lily.
Once back, he’s moving into another field of work, unfortunately not in tennis 😢

From school, to club, to county, to coach, to a national finals U10’s county coach! What a journey, and one we are very proud of.

We know you’ll succeed in your next adventure. See you back on court soon as a player again.

That’s a wrap for tennis camps this summer!
A huge thank you to the players who attended and worked so hard on some very warm days.
We hope everyone enjoys the last two weeks of the holidays before school re starts.
Final information for the new term will be going out from next week.
