Update for OCTBOX powered barrow users
Please regularly check your differentials are serviceable and do not jam. If they are jamming get them replaced with the latest upgraded steel core Diffs as soon as possible. Failure to change them out will result in a twisting pressure being exerted on the axle which will lead to it snapping.

If you regularly use the powered barrow on rough stoney tracks we would also recommend using with the pneumatic wheels that will give much greater cushioning and will also reduce vibration and stress on the the chassis and axle

Failing to observe the above points may end up with you getting stranded because of the axle snapping while half way between your peg and carpark.

Just a quick post on our latest battery. It is naturally aimed at our anglers with the powered barrow, but is also an item that could prove invaluable for anglers wanting to keep bait cool while travelling etc
The new capacity is double that of our previous module and will run a large 12v cool box for 8 hours. It is supplied with a cable to plug in your cool box and also has a USB port. I know 99 percent of you reading this latest newsletter already own an Octbox Model. It always surprises me just how many of our really old models going back over 15 + years are still in service.
I have always believed aluminium is the best material to use in our range of Octbox products, now even more so. The blistering heat we have been experiencing is no friend to anything made in plastic, particularly if it has to spend any time in the boot of your car or van.
For those of you thinking of upgrading to either our standard model or Anniversary edition Seatbox, D25 or D36 model with footplate during the month of July we will supply a wheel kit, double or single, free of charge.
That would allow you to sell your old box with wheels to get a better price. If you are thiking of selling your old box and do not need th money now, my recommedation is to wait until September. You will get a better price.
