💥 Technique Tuesday 💥
All about the shoulders!
Lateral raises done WRONG ❌ vs RIGHT ✅
Stop swinging the weight and letting momentum do the work.
Control the movement, keep a slight bend in the elbows, and raise with the shoulders — not the traps.
Shoulder press done WRONG ❌ vs RIGHT ✅
Stop arching your back and turning it into a full body movement.
Stay controlled, keep your core braced, and press the weight directly overhead for better shoulder activation and safer form.
Good technique beats heavy weight every time 🔥
Save this for your next shoulder session 💪

It’s getting warmer, more humid, the effects from the weather as well as other factors can really impact performance!
Here’s a few in a bit more detail;
Poor sleep quality - With daylight still not up in the early morning. People do find it hard to wake up due to their circadian rhythm being off. Try calming alarms and a “Sun light alarm clock”
off your phones at least an hour before bed.
Poor nutrition - The time of hot chocolate’s, Friday night takeaways in the warm, alcohol etc but these are the factors to consider as to why you ain’t performing as well or even seeing progress on the scales etc
Dehydration -
Most people don’t drink enough to stay hydrated at all. One of the most important and yet underutilised thing in our life.
It effects everything, from physical capabilities, prevents headaches, dizziness, feeling nauseous and just regulates your normal bodily functions!
Make drinking water / squash a part of your daily priority!!
Structure - “Training without intent” or just going through the motions isn’t going to help you progress in your health and fitness or running.
Set a date / holiday / book an event and work towards that to give you clear focus and structure towards actually wanting to get up and achieve something each day 💪🏻
You are your No.1 priority, look after yourself, every day!
Even 1% every day or so adds up in the end,
Keep going, you got this! 💚
Safety first! ⛑️
Make sure to use the emergency clip on treadmills if you’re going running!
They’re there to instantly stop your session if you get too far away from the monitor!
Be sure to put them back into their original place so they can reset ready for use again 💚
