Firstly I would like to apologise for the stress and anxiety caused by our earlier post. It was not my intention to do so, I now see how thoughtless it had been. I am truly sorry and take full responsibility for the stress and upset this had caused.

I would like to clarify that this is short term situation and I am working to resolve this as soon I can.
Our Current situation is not due to under agers being sold alcohol or bootleg alcohol being sold as some have speculated. It is due to the lease being taken over by a new partnership our licence has to change over to.

UPDATE,
As you will all be aware the last few months have been extremely difficult for all of us at The Civvy after the loss of our friend, mentor and boss. We would like to thank you for your support at this time.
Myself Linda Cox and Kay Smart have now formed a partnership and are currently in the process of taking over at The Civvy. We will continue to deliver good food, great service and lots of laughs.
We would also like to remind everyone that WE ARE NO LONGER A PRIVATE MEMBERS CLUB, we are a public house and licenced venue and everyone is welcome. We look forward to welcoming you all.
