What an absolutely brilliant weekend! 🏕️🔥🏄♀️🧗♀️
Our latest Wild Camping Adventure was honestly one of those weekends where my sides hurt from laughing! 😂 From start to finish, this group brought so much fun, banter and good energy, some of the stories definitely need to stay around the campfire! 🤣
We started with a paddle up Loch Freuchie where it wasn’t just about paddling! absolutely hilarious to watch! 😂🏄♀️ There was definitely a lot of determination, questionable balance and even more laughter!
Then it was time to settle into our wild camp. 🏕️
We spent the evening gathered around a cosy campfire as the light disappeared and the night rolled in. There’s something pretty special about sitting outside together, keeping warm by the fire, chatting absolute nonsense and laughing until far later than you probably should! 🔥🌙
And then there was the late-night dip… 😂 I genuinely don’t think I can explain that one. You absolutely had to be there! 🤣💦
The following day brought another challenge - rock climbing! 🧗♀️
We had a fantastic session with Finlay, our brilliant rock-climbing instructor at Bennybeg, near Crieff. There were new skills to learn, challenges to overcome, plenty of encouragement and, unsurprisingly, even more laughter!
Even better, it seems we may have created a few new climbing addicts, with some of the group already looking at taking their climbing further and joining classes locally. 🙌
These weekends are about so much more than the activities. It’s about getting outdoors, trying something new, challenging yourself, meeting people and having those completely unexpected moments that you’re still laughing about days later. ❤️
