If thereβs ONE thing weβd encourage you to think about with every mealβ¦ make it protein.
Protein is one of the most important parts of your nutrition, especially when youβre strength training.
It helps your body to repair and build muscle, supports recovery, helps you feel fuller after meals and becomes increasingly important as we get older.
But getting enough protein doesnβt need to mean living on chicken, protein shakes and boiled eggs. π
It can be as simple as looking at each meal and asking:
βWhereβs my protein?β
π₯ Eggs with breakfast
π₯£ Greek yoghurt with fruit
π Tuna or salmon at lunch
π Chicken, turkey or another lean meat
π« Beans, lentils or tofu
π₯ Milk, cottage cheese or high-protein yoghurt
π₯€ A protein shake when convenience is needed
You don't need every meal to be perfect.
Start by making protein a priority, then build the rest of your meal around it.
At Zenith, we want you getting stronger in the gym but your training is only one piece of the puzzle.
Train your muscles. Fuel your muscles. Recover. Repeat. ππΊ

We want you to leave Zenith stronger than when you walked inβ¦ and we donβt just mean physically. π
Of course, we want to give you the confidence to walk onto a gym floor, pick up weights, learn new movements and discover just how capable your body can be.
But we want something bigger for you too.
We want you to become more confident in who you are.
To feel comfortable in your own skin.
To know what matters to you.
To stop comparing your journey to everyone elseβs.
To understand that you donβt have to fit into every room, please everyone or become a different version of yourself to be accepted.
Because confidence isnβt just lifting a heavier weight.
Itβs knowing yourself.
Itβs surrounding yourself with people who make you feel good.
Itβs being mindful of how you treat others and how the people around you treat and speak about others when theyβre not in the room.
Itβs learning that what you see online isnβt always real life either.
Social media gives us the ability to show whatever version of ourselves we want people to see. But who we are when nobody is watching, how we make people feel and how we treat those around us says far more about us than any post ever could.
And thatβs something we want Zenith to help you build too.
A stronger body.
A stronger mind.
More confidence.
More clarity about who you are and what you value.
We don't want you chasing a life that simply looks good from the outside.
We want to help you build one that feels good to actually live. ππΊ
That, to us, is what becoming Stronger for Longer really means.

Every coach knows that strength training works.
Every coach knows that eating enough protein matters.
Every coach knows that building healthy habits leads to long-term results.
That's not what makes Zenith different.
What makes Zenith different is what happens between the workouts.
It's the message when you've missed a few sessions.
It's noticing when you're quieter than usual.
It's adapting your programme because life has thrown you a curveball.
It's remembering your injury, your holiday, your grandchildren's names, or the race you're training for.
It's celebrating your wins, no matter how big or small.
It's holding you accountable because we genuinely care.
Anyone can give you a programme.
Anyone can tell you what exercises to do.
But lasting change rarely comes from information alone.
It comes from feeling supported.
From knowing someone believes in you on the days you don't believe in yourself.
That's why we cap our memberships.
That's why we meet every single week as a coaching team to discuss how we can best support our members.
And that's why, for us...
Care isn't something we offer.
Care is our difference. ππΊ

Yesterday, we said goodbye to our perfect ginger boy, Kai. π
This is a post we never wanted to have to write & has happened far too soon.. but it was the last kind thing we could have done for him.
Kai wasn't just our dog... He was family.
He watched our little gym grow into the Pack it is today.
He welcomed thousands of people through our doors, accepted endless cuddles and always managed to make people smile with his little wiggles.
He brought comfort on difficult days, celebrated the good ones and was a constant through every chapter of our journey.
The gym simply won't be the same without him.
There will always be a space where we expect to see him lying down, following us around, or quietly watching over the sessions from the top of the stairs.
He leaves behind a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. π
He was there through every milestone in our personal lives and in Zenith's journey.
He was by our side when we opened the doors, through the highs, the lows, the stressful days and the celebrations.
Coming into the gym tomorrow and not seeing him there is going to be incredibly hard.
To every member, past and present, who loved him...
Thank you.
You made his life even more special.
Kai, thank you for being by our side through it all.
For the loyalty.
For the unconditional love.
For being my best furry friend.
You'll always be our OG bestest ginger boy.
I don't know how to live life without you by our side.
You'll always be Part of the Pack.
Run free with those puppy zoomies you never managed to grow out of my beautiful boy. ππΊπΎ

Many of you will know our ginger boy Kai. π
Whether you've been with Zenith for years or were part of the Pack in the past, chances are you've been greeted by his wagging tail, enjoyed a cuddle with him between sets, or had him wander over looking for a bit of attention. π
Sadly, we recently found out that Kai has a tumour in his lung. π’
At the moment, we don't know exactly how long we have left with him. So, we're going to make sure his days are filled with as much love, comfort and fuss as possible. π
You'll still see Kai at the gym from time to time because there's nowhere he'd rather be. But you may notice he's slower, weaker, and not quite his usual self.
If you see him, he'll never say no to a gentle fuss. π
Thank you to everyone who's loved Kai over the years. He's been part of the Zenith family since the very beginning, and we know so many of you have a special place in your hearts for him too.
We're going to cherish every day we have left with our OG ginger boy. πΊπ

Your body is not the enemy. π
One of the saddest things we hear as coaches is people apologising for their bodies.
"I hate my stomach."
"I'm so out of shape."
"I hate the way I look."
And whilst we understand those feelings, here's something we'd love you to remember...
You cannot build a lifelong healthy lifestyle from self-hatred.
It might get you started.
But it won't keep you going.
The people who stay consistent for years don't train because they hate themselves.
They train because they respect themselves.
They strength train because they want to move well for life.
They eat nourishing food because they want more energy.
They go for walks because it clears their mind.
They look after themselves because they know their future self will thank them.
At Zenith, we don't believe your body has to be perfect before it deserves care.
It deserves care right now. π―
So if you're beginning your fitness journey, don't punish your body into changing.
Support it.
Fuel it.
Strengthen it.
Be patient with it.
Because the goal isn't simply to look different...
It's to become stronger, healthier and happier for the rest of your life.
That's what Stronger for Longer really means. ππΊ

"I thought it was a good time to get back to some fitness again..." π
When Mark semi-retired, he made the decision to invest in his health.
Just over three months later, here's what he had to say...
"I've lost about a stone in weight, have more energy, my muscles are more toned and my body is less stiff."
But what really stood out to us was this...
"The trainers are knowledgeable, friendly and give you lots of advice. They also adapt your training to your needs, suggest alternative exercises and every session is different from the last."
Because that's exactly what we're passionate about.
No two people are the same.
Your goals, your abilities and your journey are unique to you, and that's why our coaching is personalised every step of the way.
And finally, one of our favourite parts of Mark's review...
"The training classes are also a lot of fun and you get to meet lots of people."
Fitness is important.
But feeling supported, enjoying the process and being part of a community that wants to see you succeed is what makes the biggest difference.
Thank you, Mark, for your kind words and for trusting us with your journey. We're incredibly proud of everything you've achieved so far. ππΊ

π ZENITH GAMES 2026 π
What an incredible day! π
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Zenith Games. From start to finish, the gym was filled with laughter, teamwork, determination, and plenty of healthy competition!
Congratulations to The Black Pack π€ for taking the win this year! A well-deserved victory after an awesome performance across all five events. π
The best part about the Zenith Games isn't who wins.. it's seeing everyone get involved. We absolutely love this event because it's designed to be inclusive, fun, and accessible for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. Watching members encourage each other, work together, and share plenty of laughs is exactly what our community is all about.
Thank you to all our amazing members & coaches who made today such a success. We already can't wait to make Zenith Games 2027 even bigger and better! π
