Our Freestyle Fitness Yoga Class
Wednesday 12-12:45pm and 1-1:45pm
Friday 12:15pm
These will launch on our app today.
Freestyle Fitness Yoga is a dynamic yoga class that blends traditional yoga poses with fitness-focused movements, allowing for a more creative and flexible flow than a structured yoga sequence.
The class typically emphasises:
* Improving strength, balance, and flexibility
* Raising the heart rate through continuous movement
* Core conditioning and muscular endurance

Ashtanga Yoga - Tuesday - Thursday 5:30pm - 6:15pm and 6:30pm - 7:15pm
A dynamic and traditional yoga practice that follows a set sequence of postures linked with breath.
Ashtanga Yoga builds strength, flexibility, balance, and mental focus through a flowing, disciplined practice suitable for those seeking a physically engaging and structured yoga experience.
Suitable for all levels 🧘

Low Intensity Cardio Classes
Monday - Wednesday 5:30pm - 6:15pm
Saturday - 9am - 9:45am
We have described this as low intensity, it’s a good bit of training volume just at lower consistent pace.
If high intensity is short bursts with high effort, low intensity is more about endurance, longer time and lower intensity but still an opportunity to build cardiovascular health.
Our sessions will be for 2 minutes per cardio exercise combined with body weight exercises as part of the session.
Session time 45 minutes total.
Suitable for all levels. Less impact on joints for anyone with any injuries.

Our Bands and Glutes Class
Wednesday 7:30pm - 8pm
Work through a full body workout using bands and bodyweight.
There will be a big emphasis on lower body in this one.
Your glutes will get a great burn here so ideal for anyone looking to work on their lower body with minimal loading.
Bands are great way to train and learn how to do movements, this one is a bit burny 😆
Session - 30 minutes.
Appropriate for all levels.

Our Abs Class!
Monday 7:30pm - 8pm
Work through a 30 minute ab workout using bodyweight and bands.
This one is sure to fire those abs up and great for anyone short on time looking to get strong abs.
Just to confirm, this alone won’t give you a six pack but will help improve your core strength and by doing this can help with injury prevention and work your stomach muscles through lots of different ranges of motion.
Sure to be a hit.
Session time - 30 minutes. Suitable for all levels.

Our Classes Starting next week!
High Intensity Cardio - Monday - Wednesday 6:30pm - 7:15pm. Saturday 8am - 8:45am
Working for 45 minutes using a mix of cardio equipment, body weight, jumping and exciting rest station!
This sessions will improve your overall fitness and conditioning levels.
Available to any level, our team are on hand to make sure you work at a level capable for you.
Session plan -
5-10 minutes warm up.
3 exercise + 1 rest station
30 seconds work 30 seconds rest.
45 minutes total.

Our New Classes.
We have all the information and descriptions on our Rodney Fitness Centre App, and they will be on our website next week.
The classes start from June 8th and we will add more to our timetable as membership grows.
The sessions will be between 30-45 minutes long and as we get started we will make sure everyone is capable.
These classes will follow a format and structure over a 5 week period, this means you can try out the sessions and find the one that works best for you.
We hope to see you here soon for our new classes 💪

We are starting our class schedule from June 8th.
With any new gym there’s got to be balance between classes and memberships.
We are now at 50 new members so we are all absolutely delighted with the progress so far and think now is the right time to start are classes.
We will have different formats, names and layouts as we go through.
To start off with this is our structure and over time we will work our best to put on the best service for our members.
Over the next few weeks we will be posting about what each session is and a description.
If you’ve been waiting for our classes to start, it’s now time to join us!

Our Garden Room Café is officially OPEN ☕🌿
For now, we’ll be open daily from 9am–2pm, Monday to Sunday.
As part of our soft launch, we’re currently serving:
☕ Tea & coffee
🥤 Water & juice
🍰 A small selection of cakes & crisps
And the best part?
You do not need to be a gym member to enjoy the café—everyone is welcome 🙌
Whether you’re visiting after a workout, meeting a friend for coffee, or simply looking for a peaceful spot to relax overlooking our beautiful gardens, we’d love to welcome you in.
While we don’t yet have all the bells and whistles (syrups are still to come 👀), this is just the beginning and we’re excited to continue growing the space over the coming weeks.
A few helpful things to know:

✔️ Wheelchair accessible
❌ Dogs aren’t currently permitted inside
We’ll also be introducing outdoor bistro seating soon so you can enjoy the gardens even more during the warmer days ☀️
