The team started strong and there were lots of positives to take from the first half - and key takeaways to focus on at training. 👏🏼

🔴⚽️⚫️ Scone Thistle 2016 Reds made the journey back to Crieff this morning after last weekends football festival, while the Blacks enjoyed a free Sunday ☀️

The Reds have been working hard at training, and despite being a few players short today, the team each took their turn in different positions - demonstrating their resilience and scoring some impressive goals 👏🏼

🔴⚽️⚫️ Scone Thistle 2016’s were back on the road today after the Easter break, with the Reds making the short journey to Bridge of Earn and the Blacks travelling to Davie Park, to play Blairgowrie. ☀️

Great effort from both teams, and renewed focus for the remainder of the season. 💪🏻

Congratulations Scone Thistle 2012 ♥️

🏆 CHAMPIONS!! 🏆

Today wasn’t just about the 70 minutes on the clock; it was about every rainy Tuesday and Thursday night on the training pitch and every hard-fought game that led us to this moment. Today, all that effort and passion turned into Cup Final Glory! 🥇

The boys started brilliantly, dominated possession, and kept their composure in a frantic opening. We knew the first goal would be massive, and it came after Ryan worked tirelessly to win the ball in midfield, lifting a beauty into the danger zone. Evan did what Evan does best—rounded the keeper and slotted it home with ice in his veins. 🧊⚽️
Before the break, we doubled the lead. Haz dominated the air with a massive header, Noah moved it quickly into space, and Evan was there again to nip in front of the defense and poke it home for his second.

Half Time: 2-0

The second half was a proper cup tie—
end-to-end and high pressure. Carnoustie pushed hard, but our defense was an absolute rock today, standing strong under pressure while we remained lethal on the break.

The final whistle blew and the celebrations began!

We’re coming home from Dundee as the 2012 League Cup Champions! 🏆✨

The Blacks hosted Crieff as home, while the Reds took the short journey to play Pitfour.
