One of the best things about finishing my MA is being able to pick up a book because I’m curious about it, rather than for an assignment.

Not that I’ve stopped reading books about therapy, trauma and somatics. Clearly I’m just a bit of a nerd!

This Pride Month, I’m pleased to share that my practice has been approved by the Safe Space Alliance.

The Safe Space Alliance is an LGBTQI+ led non-profit organisation that helps people identify and create safe, welcoming spaces for LGBTQI+ communities.

My practice is inclusive, affirming, and supportive of LGBTQI+ people, providing a space where everyone is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Although I’m not able to be there in person this year, I stand with and support the LGBTQ+ community.

My practice is committed to offering a safe, inclusive and affirming space for all.

Five years ago today, Claire McPhail Psychotherapy Services officially launched.

It’s been a privilege to witness the strength, courage and resilience of so many wonderful clients over that time, and I feel so grateful to do this work.

Alongside client work, much of my energy this year has gone into completing my MA in psychotherapy, and I’m finally submitting my thesis this week.

As that chapter comes to a close, I’m looking forward to having more space for clients and supervisees, further learning and development, and continuing to grow the more creative, somatic and integrative aspects of my work.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, trusted and encouraged me over the last five years.
