We’re excited to officially launch the DNA Judo Lake District Open Championships, taking place on Sunday 10th May 2026 at the fantastic facilities of Kendal Judo Club.

Following the success of our growing DNA Judo events programme, this competition will provide another high-quality opportunity for judoka to step onto the contest mat in a professional, well organised and welcoming environment.

The Lake District Open Championships is designed to support developing players and club level competitors; giving them valuable experience while enjoying the atmosphere of a properly run judo event.

Entries are now open via the website, and we expect places to fill quickly.

We are also inviting referees and table officials who would like to support the event and gain valuable experience working at a DNA Judo competition.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat to compete, officiating, or supporting from the sidelines; we look forward to welcoming the judo community to Kendal this May.

The Worlds Veterans Championships 2025 start on Monday in Paris.

Friday 7th, F1 - F9
